Great Bottles!! April 27, 2009 Reviewer:  CDWmom (Dayton, Ohio)  See all my reviews >

My son had some severe gas problems. We went and bought these bottles and they eliminated the problem! They are by far the best bottles we have tried, and we tried at least 4 different brands. The vent system is AMAZING! I would highly reccomend giving these bottles a try!!

Please read this especially if it is your first baby May 21, 2009 Reviewer:  Jewell "Jewell Towne" (Portland Oregon)  See all my reviews >

I bought these because they reduce colic and spit-up and come bpa free. I wanted the best of course. But here is a bit I wish I had known first. Wait to buy a colic bottle until you have your bundle in your arms if your baby does not have colic, acid reflux or any issuse with excessive spit-ups save your self the time and money. My son for the first three months needed the help of a vented bottle but after that he was fine and most children grow out of colic after several months. Long before they get to the 8oz point. These are very expensive and a total pain to clean. The back vent if not cleaned could easily grow funk and I found I needed to serilize after each cleaning out of conceren for areas on the bottle I could not see (like in the tubes). They do leak because of the vents, so trips could be a little tricky, you only have to have one leak in your bag before your taking all the precautions. Which means an extra bag of part as the bottle must only be assemble right before use to insure no spill in your diaper bag or purse. If you need a bottle to reduce spit ups or colic they are a blessing but my advice wait to see befor you spend $15 on a bottle that you spend a ton of time cleaning. I would rather be playing with my little man. As for the when the baby starts holding the bottle the leaking will soak them until the bottle is mostly gone. Dr browns are far better than borne free as I did use both, plus dr b's come in glass, regular, bpa free, long or wide neck. So there is a wide range to choose from. I do love the nipple and the levels but even for an eight month old the threes and four levels can over whelm the baby. Good luck!

Make sure you need them! July 11, 2009 Reviewer:  Imamom (UT)  See all my reviews >

My baby had acid bad gas and these bottles definitely did wonders! But I agree that they are difficult to clean and tend to leak. Keeping new nipples in them helps a lot, but doesn't solve the problem. For traveling, make sure you keep them upright and you are ok. Other than that, they are a must have if your baby has spit up/colic/gas or similar problems. My baby also grew out of the gas problems soon after needing the 8 oz bottles, so make sure you need them before spending the money.

Gentle feeding for you little one! June 28, 2009 Reviewer:  New Mom 2009 (Columbus, OH)  See all my reviews >

Our little girl came 5 weeks early! the hospital strongly recommended the Dr. Brown's brand for her supplemental formula feedings, so we decided to invest, and boy was it worth it! we tried other bottles that have ortho-nipples and state that they help reduce gas, but the Dr. Brown's was the most gentle on her stomach. They are a bit pricier and more time consuming to clean, so be sure to add them to your baby registry and hope someone gets the set for you!

Daddy Can Help with Feeding August 25, 2009 Reviewer:  Mama Mel (MN)  See all my reviews >

I bought this set for my husband or family/friends to help out with feedings. My daughter takes the bottles easily and doesn't seem to be bothered by gassiness after. These bottles were recommended by our pediatrician.

ABSOLUTLY WONDERFUL November 20, 2009 Reviewer:  Mom of RAC "~Alex" (LA)  See all my reviews >

I got these as a gift and since my baby was a preemie he had issues with gas I used these and they were WONDERFUL/GREAT/AWESOME. If you are thinking of purchasing them, do it because you will have some restful sleep.

One draw-back is they are A LOT of work when you have to clean them but I don't care since they helped me out like you wouldn't imagine.

BEST BOTTLES! October 31, 2009 Reviewer:  Ava P "Ava P" (Tennessee)  See all my reviews >

Dr. Brown's bottles are by far the best out there, especially if your little one has any type of stomach issue (gas, colic, reflux, etc.). These bottles are worth every penny. You will not be disappointed if you use them according to the directions listed on the packaging. We love them and are happy to report that we have had NO problems with stomach or colic issues since our baby has been using these bottles. Highly Recommended!

Leak too much October 28, 2009 Reviewer:  Meximommy88 "Marcela R" (Ft Eustis VA)  See all my reviews >

These are great bottles dont get me wrong, but they leak too much. I tried reducing the amount of liquid in the bottles and tightning them up a little more, but still leaks. Other than that, they are great!
