Great Pump!

I purchased this pump after reading other customer reviews online. It is a great pump for the money and worked just as well if not better than the Medela hospital pump.
It is very easy to clean and assemble. It is light weight and has a battery option. I did not even need to use the DVD to get started, however it was decent as well.

I'm writing this review to let people know about this pump because everyone talks about Medela and this pump works just as well, if not better for me for about half the price. I love this pump so much, that when I see women in the store looking at the medela, I will stop them and reccommend this pump to them.
I actually got this pump from a Target store on clearance [...]. The DVD that comes with it is so helpful especially if you are clueless about pumping like I was. I've been using it for 7 months now, 3-4 times per day on most days and haven't had any problems with it. Why pay $150-$200 more for a medela just to get a carry case and small (cheap) cooler. I spent about $15 to buy a cute tote bag and cooler and unlike the medela bag, no one can tell what I'm carrying around with me. Also, the lansinoh pump parts are fewer and easier to clean. The system is made so that you don't have to clean the tubing because milk does not get in it (unlike a medela pump, where you have to clean the tubing each time you use it).
The only bad things about this pump are the collection bottles are small (only 4 oz), but any standard bottle will screw right on (you can also buy an adapter for playtex drop-ins bottles that will work with this system) and you have to order spare parts online, they are not sold in stores.

The number one rated breast pump is Ameda, which is the same as lansinoh. I am the 3rd in my family to use this pump. I have been using this pump for 8 months now (frequent user). Just recently i noticed a small problem with it, called the company and they shipped out replacements parts the same day. Customer service is awesome. Its fast, and convenient. I love the battery-powered option too

I bought this pump based on the reviews and price, and overall it was a good pump. Worked great for the first few months, but started to lose suction and power around 5 month of heavy use. I would pump at work, and other girls would get as much as I did in half the time with the Medela. I managed to make it 6 months with this pump and I am happy with that. My son is one and I am due again in January, and I am buying the Medela this time. If you want a pump to use for multiple births go ahead and buy the Medela. If you need something for a shorter time, this is a good pump for the price.

I registered for the Lansinoh Pump after reading many reviews and weighing the cost compared to others. I began using it very soon after my son was born since I was going back to work. The parts are easy to clean and the battery option is nice for when you can't plug in to an outlet. The suction is strong and efficient. The only downside is that the storage bottles that come with it are only 4 oz. I bought the Lansinoh storage bottle 4-pack and those hold close to 6oz. I also discovered that Evenflo bottles fit on this pump. I just bought some 8oz size so that I don't have to worry about changing bottles mid-pump or have them overflow! I would definitely say this pump is good value for the money.

Not a good pump for a working mom

This breast pump works well for occasional pumping. If you are planning to return to work it is not a good pump for frequent pumping. Here is why:
1. The double pump feature doesn't work well. The two bottles are connected to the same suction, so if you remove one shield the other shield loses suction. So, if you need to reposition or set one bottle down to free up a hand for a minute the other side stops pumping too.
2. Although there is an adjustment for suction and frequency the frequency feature doesn't work well. The medela pump allows for short shallow pumping and then longer stronger pumps. When you adjust the frequency on this pump it simply pauses between pumps which doesn't help to draw out more milk in fact it does the opposite. So the pump frequency is decreased but the duration is the same.
When I use this pump as opposed to the medela pump I get about 2-3 oz less. So, if I had to use this pump all the time my milk supply would have dwindled already. It is a nice pump if you need to use it only a few times a week for half day daycare or maybe to go back to work 1-2 days per week.
I had a difficult time deciding between this pump and a medela PIS but I think the extra money for the medela is worth it. I use a medela symphony which is a hospital grade pump and it is excellent. I think these can be rented from a lactation consultant.

After looking for a double electric pump that I wanted to use about 1-2 times a day, I found this one that was a little less expensive than some of the others on the market but still had good reviews. I am now using it with my second baby and it is still going strong! It has been really great. It's easy to clean and seems very sturdy. I bought extra parts for it from the manufacturer so I could stick one set in the dishwasher and have another set that was clean and ready to use. I love the milk storage bags as well. I highly recommend this pump!!

I rented an Ameda upon leaving the hospital but it was so big that I could not travel with it once I returned to work. I purchased this pump after reading the reviews and it works as well as the Ameda. A bonus is that all of my Ameda attachments are interchanable. It travels well and has A/C and battery operation.

I chose this pump for cost reasons when I had my son 3+ years ago and loved it. When my daughter was born 2 months ago, I pulled it out of storage and was delighted to find that it still works perfectly. Also, it is small and quiet compared to most other pumps, and the suction is great. Like it better than my friend's Medulla pump and even the hospital grade ones. DON'T WASTE TIME OR MONEY LOOKING AT OTHERS!

I used this pump for several months, multiple times a day after my son was born, and I'm now using it to pump for my daughter. I have pumped now for over 3 months with her (at least 2-3 times per day) and it's still going strong. I've never used a Medela, so I can't make a comparison, but this pump has always served me well, and still does.
I just use a cute pink tote bag, bought the bigger Lansinoh bottles, ordered extra parts online (because extras are always good to have on hand), and I'm good to go!
