Not What I Had in Mind May 22, 2008 Reviewer:  Denise P. Johnson "Brideat50" Real Name (Tallahassee)  See all my reviews >

First, this dress is not white. It was a cream color. The bottom had a ragged look to the cut of the tulle. The buttons on the back were incredibly hard to unbutton. I returned the dress and the matching veil 2 weeks ago. I am still waiting on my reimbursement.

Got More Than My Money's Worth March 7, 2008 Reviewer:  Just Married (Las Vegas, NV)  See all my reviews >

I wanted a simple dress for my Las Vegas wedding wothout looking cheap. I knew it would be ruined by the end of the night walking around on the Strip (it was), so I didn't want to spend a lot of money. It fit great all I needed was the bottomed hemmed (I'm 5'1) which I had done by a seamstress. I added a black sash and it made the dress interesting and modern. There was a smell but it faded within a few weeks. The buttons were hard to put together (my seamstress suggested a crochet hook, my mom didn't have luck using one, but maybe someone else will). I didn't have any problems with them being unbuttoned though.

Great for the money February 20, 2008 Reviewer:  Pink Bride (Western New York)  See all my reviews >

My bridesmaids are wearing this gown for my wedding (I'm in pink) and I have currently seen three. Nothing was dirty and the coloring was fine. White tulle simply looks different than white satin. It's a soft tulle, more like a net fabric, not stiff. The bodice is lovely and well made except for tight buttons. My mother broke three fingernails on them. You can't get into it by yourself, nor can one's husband easily remove it. One of my bridesmaids opted to have a hidden side zipper put in, eliminating the issue entirely. Note, they get easier after a few attempts.

I did not notice a strong odor from any of them, just the normal plastic-y smell that comes with things being packaged with plastic. All the girls said it faded quickly.

One thing the pictures do not show well is that the layers of netting are graduated in length. The top layer is a half inch shorter than the next, and so on. If you needed to shorten the dress, recreating the different lengths would be hard to do without a seamstress.

A few comments have complained about the hem. There were in fact some jagged edges on two of the dresses. The tulle netting is not hemmed, which I do not consider an issue, since tulle hardly ever is. A pair of scissors evened out the jagged spots in seconds. Frankly, for [the price] I was not expecting perfection. You can't even buy the vast majority of bridesmaid dresses that cheaply. And the gown is easily dressed up, if you want to add some extras to it. My girls will be wearing pink sashes with theirs and maybe some beading or embroidery.

Overall, my girls and I are VERY pleased with the dresses. They are not the couture dream gowns you see in the bridal magazines, and anyone expecting to be able to buy one for [this price] is setting themselves up for disappointment. However, it is a lovely and well made gown, and the slight imperfections we found were easily remedied and well worth it considering the fantastic price of this dress.

Very Excited November 19, 2007 Reviewer:  Tennessee Bride See all my reviews >

I was very excited to get my dress. It was exactly what I expected. Perfectly white, you have to take in account that the dress is made of different materials so they are not all the same exact white. The chemical smell was not bad and aired out in minutes. It is the perfect princess dress. I am so thankful that Target is making nice dresses that people can afford.

Tacky and Cheap October 26, 2007 Reviewer:  Elizabeth Page "Page by Page" Real Name (La Mirada CA)  See all my reviews >

I could not beleive the smell when I opened the box!! very chemical like smell. I was happy with the top of the dress,,very cute but the layered skirt was atrocious! The tulle looked dingy..It looked used. I donated it to a thrift store..it's still there! The dress is not even suitable for a halloween costume. I went to a bridal shop paid more but now I love my dress.

This is the worst wedding dress I have ever seen September 18, 2007 Reviewer:  Disappointed Bride (Boston, MA)  See all my reviews >

I felt compelled to write a review for this dress, since the several positive reviews convinced me to buy it. My fiance and I were both shocked and horrified when we opened the box and saw what was inside. This dress is not worth half of what is being sold for. It is actually completely unwearable. The buttons on the back could not even be unbuttoned, despite our best efforts! The quality of the fabric could not have been worse. It truly looks like a rag. I cannot understand how Target could sell and market this dress successfully. Given the condition my dress arrived in, I think 99% of people would want to return it instantly.

I love it!!!! June 27, 2007 Reviewer:  Happy Bride See all my reviews >

I'm having a military wedding on the 4th of July. We had to throw everything together in a very short amount of time. I am so glad that I found this dress. Being that it's an outside wedding, I needed something simple, yet elegant. The dress was absolutely perfect. I felt it was described perfectly, and the dress, to me, was exactly how it looked in the picture. I love all of the layers, and the quality was everything I expected from the Mazrahi line. I will, without a doubt, feel like a princess when I meet my Marine at the altar!! I simply cannot say enough good things about this dress! No one would believe that I paid less than $200 for this beautiful gown.

I love this dress! June 17, 2007 Reviewer:  Amy See all my reviews >

I am so happy with this dress!!! I am having a beach wedding and this dress was exactly what I was looking for. It is simple, but it still makes me feel like a princess. I especially love the 7-layer skirt. Perfect!!!

Great dress for the price June 11, 2007 Reviewer:  beefleef (Los Angeles)  See all my reviews >

The last review seemed unnecessarily harsh and nitpicky and it almost made me not buy the dress, but I did anyway to see for myself. I just got it in the mail and I really like it.

For the price, this is a very well-made dress! It feels substantial and like any other dress you'd pay probably triple the price for. It has a softer satin-like fabric skirt lining the inside that's very comfortable. The inside of the dress is even well-designed down to small details. The fabric does not feel cheap and the color seems fine to me.

The 2 biggest qualms that I have is that the fabric smelled so strongly of chemicals (most likely from the cleaning process at their factory) that putting it over my head to try it on made me gag and my eyes water! I highly recommend you dry-clean this dress before wearing it! The other is that because of the details with having so many real loop buttons, it is a real pain to put on because it takes too long.

After adding some personalized touches with my sewing machine, this is going to be my wedding dress.

Totally Disappointed!! May 14, 2007 Reviewer:  Sassy G "Gina B" (Tennessee)  See all my reviews >

I usually don't respond to these type of things, but after reading the previous review & experiencing this first hand, I felt complelled to write. My sister recently ordered the above "wedding" dress & words cannot express out thoughts after receiving this in the mail. The only nice thing about this dress, was the actual box it was shipped in! Firstly, the dress looks much better in the picts as you cannot tell from the photo the 3 different colors of white it was in...the top was one color, the ribbon at the waist another & the tulle skirt looked grey & dirty. The hem was very poorly made & uneven. We were SHOCKED that this dress was so poorly made. We are both loyal Target customers & have never had an experience like this. We expected so much more, especially from this Mizrahi line, which I cannot believe can even be classified as "Bridal". This dress looked & felt more like a "rag" --something Cinderella would have been wearing to CLEAN in, not for the fancy ball!!
