GREAT FUN FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY & FRIENDS!!!

Reviewer:  Dave  (Kingston, RI)  See all my reviews

I recently gave iNo to my nieces and nephew (10, 14 & 8 years old) to play with over the holidays and it was a HUGE HIT with them as well as their parents. They didn't want to put it away. Unlike the built-in game that comes with iPods, this game system is a multi-player game for up to 4 people (you can even play with more players if you form teams), and has built in speakers, 4 color-coded remotes and game playing cards. The cool thing about the iNo is that it always knows who was the first to hit their remote to guess the answer and an appropriate colored light lights up matching the players remote to let you know who was the quickest to respond so there's no arguing as to who got there first. Their are 4 cool LED scoring windows color-coded to each players remote so it's very easy to keep score. The playing cards add variety to the game as well. This is an outstanding game system and I hope that the maufacturer will add additional games to play on it in the future! [...] The various iPods we tried all fit in perfectly and the screen never contacted anything that could scratch it.
If you are looking for a fun interactive game for all ages, this is it! It would be fantastic to play at parties too.
DEFINITELY 5 STARS!!!

I have regrets.

Reviewer:  DupedGuy "-DtotheG"  (Washington, DC)  See all my reviews

I was recently in the market for a speaker system for my recently purchased iPod. After reading some of the reviews on this site, I decided that this would be a good fit. After all, what could be better than a game with the speaker?

Well, after getting it out of the box, reality set in. My iPod barely fit into the slot. I thought that this was, perhaps, a feature wherein the iPod was secure in case of someone getting over-excited and tipping it over.

After two hours of struggling to get it out of the unit, I can only assume that it was improperly designed to handle the new iPods that were recently released, I finally got it out only to discover that there was a gouge in my screen. It started about half way through the screen and continued until just off the screen. After that it scratched the paint and cracked my click wheel. The screen was irreparably damaged and now Apple won't fix it even though I purchased the extended warranty for the iPod and this thing is supposedly licensed according to what I read about it.

I promptly returned this to the store to get my money back and opted to get a Bose system instead.

iNo Saved Our Family

Reviewer:  Coolest Dad "Marc W."  (New York, NY)  See all my reviews

I initially bought this game for my son & daughter looking for an alternative to their video games.
They loved it so much it was just a matter of time before the whole family was playing together. Now we have scheduled game nights and spend so much more time together... My wife thinks I'm a hero! Our music knowledge has gotten more eclectic too and love when our friends come to our house with their ipod’s so we can play.

We love this game!!

One of the best party games ever! My brother asked us all to bring our ipods to a family get together he was hosting. It was the first time playing iNo for all of us. This cool "Name that Tune" game kept us laughing and reminiscing for hours. It also brought some of our more subdued family members (stiffs) out of their shells. Watching my brother explain how Muskrat Love by Captain and Tennile got on his iPod was also priceless! Great Holiday gift for people who like games and/or entertain.

My Kids Liked It

Reviewer:  MonkeyMom  (USA)  See all my reviews

My kids really liked this. They're both in middle school and played with some friends. I'm not one to write reviews but I liked seeing my kids do something besides playing video games. Their friends liked it too. I would recommend.

Parent to Parent, it's a waste of money.

Reviewer:  MelandJakesMom  (Duluth, MN)  See all my reviews

I used to love to watch "Name That Tune", so I thought this would be great for the kids. I was so wrong. As said before, the game has issues working. It works with very few iPod models. My son threw a fit when he couldn't use his iPod but his sister could use hers. The most important thing is the game that this device "provides" is ALREADY ON THE IPOD. That's right! Any and every iPod, regardless of model, carries the "Name That Tune" game. You put out the money for the iPod... don't spend it again on this gimmick. If you need an iPod speaker system, I recommend the popular iHome. It has superior speakers to this and you can use it everyday. The kids love using their iHome to wake up for school. Also it will probably fit the iPod you already own. Save your money... it's not that fun and it's kind of an eyesore.

GREAT FOR PARTIES!!

Reviewer:  Party Girl  See all my reviews

I got iNo for my birthday party and my friends and I played with it for hours. The nice thing about it is that it can be played in teams and everyone gets so involved in trying to guess correctly and be the first to buzz in with their remote controls. The cards make the game exciting and challenging because teams can lose or win extra points unexpectedly. We really had a blast, I definitely recommend it!

I just got this game. It's a blast! It worked great with my Nano and it's easy to get a game going. Something different to do with my iPod.

DON'T BUY!

Reviewer:  SonicMan  (Denver, CO, USA)  See all my reviews

I've owned it for three days and it broke into pieces! The speakers suck! It doesn't work usually. It REALLY won't work with the new iPods. The other people have to be from the dudes who made it cause... man... it's horrible. My sister and I made our mom return it. Besides like... the game is already on your ipod! :-P
