We absolute love the Xbox with kinnect!!! My husband, kids ages 3, 5, 14, and myself all play on the kinnect. It is interactive fun for all ages. The adventure game that came along with it is also great. The only downside is a yearly fee to get access to the internet with the console. Overall, it is a fantastic, fun game for whole family.

I was in the market for a WII. My Daughter talked me into this instead and I love it. For the Kinect games no controllers, wheels and so on. You sort of make movements like John Belushi's Bluto character in Animal House but it's loads of fun even for this 60's arthritic body lol. It also snaps pictures of you during the game. Pretty funny. One note is has only 4 GB of memory so you will want to grab a couple of 16 GB flash drives for about [$$-$$] dollars each. The max the XBox can take is 16 G B so don't waste your money on any larger flash drive. I gave the 5 stars for value because I got it at [retailer] on Thanksgiving night for [$$$] dollars. One caveat about the games. Look at the reviews on [..].com before you buy. They will have the most reviews and you want to get the latest ones as the technology is new and is changing fast. BTW pretty dopey Target doesn't allow a dollar sign in their reviews.

Bought this today... Main reason that I got an XBOX 360 was for Battlefield3, but the Kinect looked SOOO TECHY that I just HAD to get it. AND I WAS IMPRESSED!! YOU WILL BE TOO!!

The Kinect is coolest video game, the fact that you dont have to hold any controller makes it easy to use. It gets you up and moving and having fun! I recommend it to anyone with kids who love video games but want them to get up and move around.
