This organizer met all expectations. The drawer opens smoothly, and the pull-down door functions well. One reviewer described the shelves as "rough." Instead, I would say they are matte - smooth but not slick.

Bottom line couldn't function w/o this on my desk. Keeps me organized and all hidden away when I don't want to deal with it. Nice finish and is holding up well.

This desktop organizer is great. It is made of high quality material and is very substantial. Fits perfectly where I needed it and is very attractive. The closing door helps keep the papers out of view when company comes over while having papers easily accessible when needed. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a handsome desktop organizer.

This desk organizer is built very well and solid. It definitely got the clutter off my desk into one compact area. I def. recommend this item to clean up a messy area.

This is a nice, sturdy desk accessory. I don't see myself using the upper door to hide the shelves as it is a little difficult to access, but doable if one works at it a bit. Very good quality for the price.

All of the things that J. Wells (reviewer) said were true. This product is sturdy and very dependable. However, I would like to add that the the shelves have rough surfaces, which is fine, but if you're looking for smooth shelves, this isn't the product for you.
