I love this! It is nice quality canvas type material. I can stack my flip flops and put 3 pair on each shelf. Even fits my husbands large shoes. Very nice way to organize shoes.

I think this is a great organizer. Initially I put 26 pairs of shoes in it! I put two pairs of shoes in it per shelf and a pair of shoes in each of the side pockets. On one shelf I think I had maybe 6 pairs of flip flops. It held all those shoes no problem! I had also ordered a 10 compartment shoe organizer that isn't long. I like the other one because my kids can't reach it (well, the bottom pairs they can,) but what I now have in this organizer are baseball caps, scarves, cloth belts, sweater s, and then the shoes are still in the side pockets. So, I like that it is versatile in organization, but also strong enough to hold a ton of shoes if you want to cram them in. Buy it! You won't be disappointed
