I just bought this set for my daughter who had been learning guitar from a friend. She loves it. We brought it to the local music shop where the owner noticed the high quality guitar. This is a perfect starter. Not wanting to embark on the task of researching guitars or spending alot of money for a beginner, this was a perfect solution. The price was definately right and the quality is very good. My daughter was able to get it tuned prior to her first lesson and the teacher thought it sounded quite good. It's nice looking too. Very good value.
I bought this guitar for my 10 year old daughter and she loves it. It is a very nice, sturdy guitar and fits her well. The tuner is a bit confusing and the book isn't really catered to my 10 year olds thought processes, but she is working it out just fine. I had it tuned for her and she just strums away. It was really worth the money.
