Could have used any top on Bookcases, but this top is PERFECT! The fit, ease to clean and overall look is priceless, plus as a procrastinator I probably would have been forever trying to find or get another top to fit! Thank Target for having the right look and great prices!

I got this after Christmas and I LOVE it! There is definitely a lot of packing that comes with it but I had no problem with it b/c nothing was damaged or broke. [...] My husband and I put together in very little time. It is VERY large though so make sure you measure where you want it to go. Also, I turned one of the bookshelves to face in b/c I have it up against a wall. It works out just fine. [...] you cannot place your 12x12 scrapbooks up so that they are standing, they do lie flat though. A ll and all, I'm very pleased with this purchase. As a mom with two kids, this is the only thing in this house that's mine :o)

I ordered this product and received it badly damaged. It took 30 minutes or so with customer service to get a new one exchanged. When I received the second one, it was even more badly damaged than the first. From the looks of the damage (which was REALLY bad and obvious), the damaged occurred before the shipping. Product itself was OK, but not worth the hassle.

I hesitated to spend this much on a desk online that I couldn't return to the store. However, this was the BEST online purchase ever. The desk is really big so make sure your room can accommodate, its really heavy, easy to put together and made really well. I decided not to put the backs on the bookcase either like someone else suggested. I Love this desk and would recommend it to anyone! Also you can't beat the price, I checked around for something similar items, and found they cost 2x as much . GO TARGET! Order you wont be disappointed!

After moving into a house with an office about a year ago, I had my eye set on a similar item from a high end retailer. Unfortunately, I wasn't willing to pay the high end price. I stumbled across this and was intrigued. I waited, and waited for it to go on sale, and when it did, I bought it. I also bought the two bookcases that came with it. I was nervous that it would look cheap, but I have been so pleased. It looks fantastic is my office and my husband and I enjoy the sytem fully. The only r eason I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 is it shows fingerprints easily and I wish the desktop would allow me to have one of the bookcases face inward. However, I love this item and would buy it again in a heart beat!

Like many of the other reviewers, I had originally seen this table at a more expensive store. Thankfully, I decided to see if I could find something similar online, and I did!!! I got my boxes ~1 day BEFORE the scheduled delivery date (which was only a week from order) so I was thrilled with delivery. The pieces were triple boxed (so a little annoying to get into) but I'd rather have that, than damage!! Went together easily, with all hardware neatly labeled from the factory. I am a very handy p erson, so the instructions were fine for me...but they are pictures only, so may be more difficult for someone who needs written directions. Each bookshelf took me ~15 mins to put together. It should be noted that this table is made from MDF (but doesn't look like it!) so it is VERY HEAVY. This wonderful for durability, but could be a problem for a small person to be able to move, etc.As has been noted by others - you must order 2 bookshelves and the table top (all sold separately) to make the table!

I bought the two bookcases, table top and the 2 tall bar chairs. The price was decent compared to "other" stores. The table top and chairs arrived in nice condition, however the 1st of 2 bookcases had damage and was missing hardware. Target was great and replaced it at no cost (took almost a week to get the replacement and thought they should have overnighted it to be honest). When the replacement came, more damage to this bookcase. Was NOT happy, considering I had pieces of the proje ct table all over my living room awaiting to be assembled. Got ANOTHER replacement and was happy with that one. The chairs were kind of a pain to put together (tedius) but the bookcases weren't so bad. The entire set is heavy, and sturdy. I strongly recommend to the independent single ladies out there to have someone help place the table top on because it was heavy and awkward. Overall, I like the piece and know it will get a lot of use.

I purchased this item and have not had any disappointments. I also purchased the shelves to go with it and it is very sturdy and strong. I scrapbook and this works wonderfully. I would definitely recommend this to everyone.

I bought the craft table top but instead of buying the side units that match I bought two Closetmaid 9 cube units that are the same size. The Adams bookcases are each but the Closetmaid ones were on sale. This does mean that the bookcases don't bolt on with the set included, but I used L brackets instead and with the weight of the top it's perfect. I also love the Closetmaid fabric drawers that fit in the cubes, looks great!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this table. I am a scrapbooker and love the shelves on either side, plus the wide table top to spread everything out...put it together in about 2 hrs. Once I read other reviews I was sold!!
