I got this thing home and thought there was no way my cat was going to use it. The surface of it is so hard. A couple days after it was sitting out and my cat had investigated it he started using it. He loves it! He uses it more than any other scratcher I have bought him, and I have pretty much tried them all. I just stocked up on refills!
Worst Purchase

I have two cats and neither were interested in scratching at the board. It was a waste of money. They did use the toy attached, which fell apart and the bell came off. Thankfully I found the bell on the floor before the cat could eat it. I would not recommend buying this item!

my cat loves it but it does nothing for her claws they're still very sharp. i thought this was to file it down... but i guess not.

My cat loves this! Since I bought it he hasn't scratched anything but it. He even sleeps on it sometimes. My other cat who doesn't claw anything loves the toy and battles it on a regular basis. It stays attached as well which is amazing. It is a little messy, but if you vacuum often it isn't an issue. Great purchase!

My cats will scratch anything, and are usually pretty easy going, but they are TERRIFIED of this scratcher. I love the idea, but unfortunately the smell or texture turns them off. I will be returning this item tomorrow.
