sound quality is awful, if there is any base at all there is a rattling sound in the unit its self. and sounds like the sound is in a jar or something. what ever you do don't buy it . its a waste of time.

this tv only lasted 2 months before the picture went out ! took it back to Target and they don't even carry this Tv any more they said did return my money! I guess just because it was cheaper then the other Tv's it's don't always a better deal!!!! The picture was not clear, the sound was awful I guess I'm glad it went out before my 90 days was up! beware before buying this brand!!!

We bought this tv 2-3-12. Today is 2-25-12 and the tv has completely quit working. From day one the sound was bad and we bought a sound system that did improve the sound. Then there started being a blue line that went across the tv but it would disappear. Today it is totally out it does nothing. It want even come on sometimes cheapest is not the best. I dont think Ill exchange it for another one. We will probably go with another model. The tv is going back this is ridiculous and our family is very disappointed with this purchase! If it don't work there is no value. Its a waste of our time energy and money.

Did a lot of research, looking around different stores, sites, etc. had some shopping to do and asked is there more of this TV in the back?? There was and I didn't think twice I bought it. Picture is great sound is OK, have hooked up alternate speaker system very nice. The plus side of this TV is I bought it on sale at the store added the extended warranty and still saved money, what a buy.

Finally got it hook up and running and mostly love it. I do not have HD and am concerned about the picture. I seem to be getting some distortions. Not on all shows - some things come in really clear. I don't know if HD would help clear up the distortions. But it's a great size at a great price. I have no problem with the sound quality.

The next problem was that the top 2/3 of the screen went dim, I believe the projection unit went out since the picture was still there, after 2 days of use, I work during the day so it was on for maybe 10 hours at most. On top of the unit going bad, when you try to register the warranty online your product serial number won't be recognized due to a coding error, what they told me on the phone, so the 1 year warranty can't be registered at the time of my posting this comment. On a po sitive note, the sound quality was better than I was expecting, it is a flat screen so you can't expect true high quality and the picture looked great while it worked.

Considering the price and 'ya get what ya pay for'" running through my head, my expectations were pretty low at the start. Holy Cow!!! I LOVE this TV!!!! Yeah, the sound is not all that great, but it's not horrible. The picture is incredible. I was prepared to spend about 700 bucks for a television this size. So I'm really glad I bought this one - saving money is always a good thing!!. If you can't decide for sure, buy it - you won't be disappointed.

Got this tv for [$]. I am really pleased with it. Picture quality is great. I don't have any complaints. Has 3 hdmi inputs and I can also use my old VCR that uses the old style hook-up cords. Some people complain about the sound but it sounds ok to me. You can connect external speakers if you want. This tv has alot of features that other ones don't in this price range. I have no problem recommending it.
