Great little iPod for walking, working out etc. The touch screen is awesome and very responsive. Earbuds give you great sound also. Some may prefer their favorite earbuds instead but these work just fine for me. For those reviews that say it cannot be turned off never bothered to read page 3 of the very short and easy to follow Quick Start guide. The Nano can be turned off or put to sleep.

You have to individually add songs to a genius list, it doesn't automatically do it for you. I dont use pictures or videos on it because it's too small but it's awesome otherwise

I was an ipod nano 4th generation user for quite a while and I have to say that this is an upgrade. I am a long distance runner so the smaller size with the clip on the back is a huge convenience for me as is the fact this new model weighs less and is smaller in size. Also, on long runs with my 4th generation my fingers would get sweaty and it was IMPOSSIBLE to use the circle to scroll through songs or adjust the volume. The touch screen and volume buttons are a definite plus. Overall I am extr emely happy with it!

As Mother's Day approached, my sisters and I finally agreed to buy mom an iPod. I found the nano on the another website, but decided to check out Target to price the same item. [...] Wanting to support one of my favorite retailers, I made my Target order. The check-out process was quick and easy. Mom received the item ([...]!) within just a few days and loved it! The 6th generation nano is fabulous! It is small and so easy to use with the touch screen. The new clip eliminates the need for an arm band when working out! I love my Nano! The only thing that could be improved are the earphones--they are a little uncomfortable.

I bought this one when my ipod classic broke. Not wanting to invest in another one since I didn't even come close to filling the song capacity and have plans to purchase an ipad in a few months I opted for the nano. I've never owed a nano before so I can't say how this one compares to it but it plays music which is all I wanted it for. I read other reviews complaining about the battery life and lack of on/off switch but mine stays on my ihome until I want to use it with headphones so it's alway s charged and ready.The biggest "issue" (and I use that term lightly) is getting use to using the touch screen versus the wheel on other models. I wouldn't recommend this for small kids with sticky fingersOverall I'm happy with my purchase

I received the ipod nano touch for Christmas and it was the coolest gift. So small, great touch screen, MP3 player plus radio, photo library and more. Clip on feature so you can take it anywhere. Imagine my disappointment when I finally figured out why I needed to recharge it almost daily - there is NO ON/OFF switch on this player. Apple says when not in use, the player goes to sleep, conserving battery. Then you hit the Wake button to get it working again. However, there is still a constant dr ain and before you know it - it needs recharging AGAIN. A simple thing like an On/Off switch would make all the difference. How disappointing. It makes it almost useless to own so I'm going to need to return this one [...] Sigh.

This is my second Apple iPod nano purchase. This one is for my younger son and it is perfect. It fits in your pocket, it has a touch screen, it holds thousands of songs and - my son was thrilled with it. The best part is that Target offered a [great] price [...]. It doesn't get better than that.
