I bought 2 of these for my daughter's playroom. What the previous reviewer said about the flimsy plastic is true - and that's why I gave it 4 stars. However, I can replace the artwork without taking it off the walls. I don't take the mat out everytime - why would I need to? I end up taking the artwork to the back of the mat, so there is no need to disassemble the frame for that. Also, I agree about the hanging mechanism, but every frame with 2 catches requires you to line them up perfectly. the
se are extra small... but you can let them catch one at a time. put your finger on one at a time and let it catch that way.I also agree that added padding would help, but I just used extra tape. Also, the pocket to "store" artwork inside is super small. What do you want for [$]?!?? I'm satisfied with them - they make the playroom extra cute.
I can't believe I'm the only one who thinks these are AWFUL, and other people love them... I don't see how. I really wanted to like these and there is VERY little to like. REASONS NOT TO BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNKFirst, you of course can't tell in the pic, but it is not glass, it is a VERY thin wavy (which distorts the picture) piece of plastic, that is really hard to keep in place.- the back is thin fiberboard -the way they mount on the wall with two (very small) latches so you have to have 2 very
small nails and get them perfectly level and just enough space between them to fit. Then try to get them to Both catch on the wall at the same time (it take me forever)- once you get it on the wall you find that although it is meant to be easy to use you HAVE to take it down to open it up and change pictures out.... isn't the point that I wouldn't have to do that... -so to change the picture it is cheap medal that you bend back to fit in and then bend back, (some of mine have already broken) and it does not hold the picture in place, it will slide around-and what kind of drawing or picture were these people thinking because I have not seen 9 by 12 paper, so I bought extra big paper for my kids to make some artwork and then cut it down to fit.... but all the artwork from school will not fit in these.The ONLY good thing about this was the idea. I LOVE the idea, it was great. I love this frame - it's going to be great for future works of art for my little one, but for now a great frame for pictures I've taken. Gave it 4 stars only because I needed to stuff the back with additional cushion so the photos would lay flat.

The picture doesn't do justice for this frame. I was surprised when it arrived and double-checked the packing list, as I thought there must've been an error. It was the frame ordered to display my granddaughter's artwork. The frame & drawing are proudly displayed in my living room!
This is a great item. I have them in my kitchen and my girls love having their art working on display. I get a ton of comments from friends and visitors.
