I use this for my one year old daughter. It works really well to cover the face when used with a hat. If you need to put sunscreen on your child's head (because he/she doesn't have much hair) I would not recommend using this because I don't think it would rub in easily.It does rub in easily on the face though. If you don't rub it in it may leave a slight white mask.
