Avington 2-pack Dining Chair - Red Floral product details page

We just purchased 6 of these to go with a new round dining table and the red wall I painted in our dining room. They look fabulous and were easy to assemble. One problem, however, was that 1 of the 6 chairs was severely damaged during shipment, so we had to return 2 of the 6. You can't just return 1 chair since they are sold in pairs. Now they are out of stock online, so we couldn't reorder, but we did find two red leather-like chairs that coordinate with them and we are now ready to host a din ner party! By the way, the return was simple, too. We just took them to our local Target store and got immediate credit.

I have to give these chairs low marks for quality, particularly the legs. I ordered 4, 2 boxes of 2, dining chairs and 2 of the slipper style chairs all in the same red floral on sale because I wanted to have the four dining chairs coordinate with the 2 slipper chairs in my living room. The very first chair I tried to assemble had an issue with the front legs. The bolts would not stay secure. I unassembled the legs only to find the claw nut the bolts screw in to loose and a crack in the wood near the assembly area for both front legs. I've tried reseating the claw nuts, but they keep coming loose. The cracks may be the reason they come loose, but they are also missing some nails meant to secure the nuts in place. Reading reviews here, I wonder if the same broken chairs continue to get shipped out, or it is just that construction quality is consistently poor. I am calling tomorrow to see what can be done.

I really like the chairs - they're comfy and pretty and I got a good sale price. BUT, I had trouble with the legs when I assembled them. Luckily, my husband figured out the problem. The instructions don't tell you to make sure the metal parts on the legs i.e. ferrules are turned to the outside corner of the chair. I had to unbolt the legs, hammer the ferrules back in place, and rebolt them. Now they're not budging. [...]

I received my chairs and the legs were broken. The chairs are great but I had to return. I will not reorder because I don't want to have to load up and take back to Target. Maybe you should go to another supplier for these chairs.

Very pretty, classy chairs, and comfortable too. The only problem was that one of the legs is about one half inch shorter than the others on one of the chairs. Not sure what to do about this.

I have had THREE different sets so far. The first set was a wedding gift, and they are perfect. I ordered another set to match and when it arrived 3 of the 8 legs were defective and the chairs were not stable. I returned that set and ordered a new set, when this arrived I found 1 leg to be defective with the same problem! It appears that after the first set I received as a gift, Target changed manufacturers because the seat in the other two sets has a different type of padding, and that isn't a bad thing, but then the legs keep coming defective rendering the product useless. Who can use a chair without sturdy, functional legs!? When calling Target trying to get a replacement part I was always given a different number to call and then finally told my option was to return it and buy another set. Needless to say- I'm pretty frustrated and will probably give up on have matching chairs.

I love how these chairs looked in my kitchen as I didn't want matchy matchy but 1 of the chairs legs keep coming loose! I have had these chairs for about a week now and I am so disappointed that the legs won't stay tight. My husband had tried using a different nail and it just keep happening. I will be returning these although I love the pattern. The color is more of a cranberry than red and then there is a slightly different red on some of the leaves and floweres. Super cute and comfy but those darn legs! I also called the company and I get a voice mail that is not the company...

I have wanted some pretty dining chairs for a long time.You know where people sit back and relax. haha! like on TV! I got a red couch and then saw these. I had to have them. When then went on sale i snatched them up. they were very easy to put together. they are comfortable and strudy. the design is beautiful. They are fabulous with my red leather couch. You will love them!

The chairs arrived in perfect condition and look fantastic, they look just like the pictures on the wedsite or better. Great price, been shopping around for a while and found these chairs to be the most affordable for great quality chairs, extremely satified and my dinning room looks so elegant!

I bought these chairs but am returning them today. Tried to contact the company by email and voicemail but never received a response. 2 out of the 4 chair legs were defective and could not be used. No response. The color was great exactly like the picture!!!! Too bad. I am disappointed.
