I just received my desk today after ordering it 4 days ago, so arrival time was a positive experience. It took me 30 mins to assemble alone, not complicated at all. All you need is a screwdriver for the knob on the drawer, all other tools come with it. Upon opening the box I did notice some minor defects in the finish. Two of the table legs were banged and dented and on the underside of the table base the finish was peeling. As stated these defects were minor and for [$] I can live with them. O nly I know they're there. Upon completion the drawer was not level and sloped down on one side. It isn't that noticeable, but it bothered me so I used some of the cardboard from the packaging to shimmy it. I like the overall look of the desk. It's simply chic with clean lines.

This desk could have been an excellent product, but during shipping the value was considerably lessened. It isn't real wood or anything, but you can feel that the desk is very durable and not made super cheaply. It is fairly heavy and looks gorgeous for the price. However, I received the package and it appeared to be taped after it had a tear in the box...it was obvious that this box had been put through hell. After opening it and finding that the one front corner had been dropped and ruined I was very dissappointed. The drop had deformed the corner and paint was chipping off..about an one inch patch. The corner was no longer at a point but rounded off and warped. I really wanted to return it, but I just don't want to go through the hassle. Fixing it with furniture markers and gloss. My advice would be to SHIP TO STORE! Could have been UPS's fault and not Target, but I am still upset regardless.

looks nice, drawer gets hung up, minor damage- chip that was repaired before shipping on the corner of the top. I won't bother returning it, just like they counted on. Otherwise, it is nice for the money. Very easy to assemble.

You can't beat it for the price. I actually own the dark tobacco desk for my office, but am ordering the black one for my kids computer. Yes, it's not the best quality but what do you want for [$]? My desk didn't come damaged, but was missing a few small screws for the drawers. I called the service number on the instructions and they sent me screws a few days later, no questions asked. If anything comes damaged, I would suggest calling the service number before returning it, they are generally very helpful.

It seems to be common with the other reviews that this desk gets damaged during shipping. . . I got mines today and I love it! The set up was super easy, the quality is great but it has a dent on the back of the desk. . .I can't return it, I can but it would be a hassle with where I live and all, it's not the end of the world but it does anger me a tad. . .I suggest Target gets this shipping problem fixed pronto! otherwise a great great buy!

Have gotten alot of compliments on this desk, I ordered the matching hutch as well as a black rolling filing cabinet that fits right under the desk, its perfect!

The desk itself is really good and perfectly fits in the space in needed it for. However, it came with a huge scratch in it and several other little scratches all over the top of the desk. If is was all scratched up in shipping this would have been the perfect desk. Assembly was a breeze. All you had to do was put the legs on and it was ready to go!

It is a great desk for the value, I have seen better quality on other Target purchases but it is OK for the price. I ordered online and took around 10 days for deliver at my home because was a back order. Assembling was very easy and no issues to complete the task, looks nice with our TV on top.

It is a great desk for the value, quality and look. I ordered online along with other household items and received all of them before the estimated arriving date. Assembling was quick and no issues. I am very happy with this purchase with Target.
