This seemed to be of good quality materials, but my husband -who has been in the carpentry trade in the past- was unable to get it together after almost an hour of trying. It seems that either some pieces were missing, or holes were drilled wrong, or something was not right. We are going to return it and try ordering another one. Bummer!

I bought two file cabinets on sale in black to match my coffee table and bookcase. We use them as end tables and the large drawer for storage is great. Pretty easy to assemble, did not have any trouble. Over all, they look great and work well for our living room.

The table/file cabinet seemed solid and well designed during the construction process, and the instructions were simple enough. However, when it came time to insert the drawer, the bracket snapped right off. Some of the material feels like solid wood, but joints and stress points appear to be thin compression board. So while the cabinet is pretty and has plenty of space to store paper under the printer itself, don't forget to keep wood glue on hand!
