Avington Side Table - Dark Tobacco product details page

I have the whole collection and this is a beautiful table to go with the rest of my furniture. The only problem that I have with this particular table is that the drawer is a little lopsided. Its a perfect table for someone starting out, but be patient because it will take about 1 hour to put it together.

My husband and I now have many pieces in the Avington collection - two tall bookshelves, two side tables, the console table and the entertainment center. This set has really made our home beautiful! They clean easy, and always appear to have come from a high end furniture store. My husband has built each piece with ease. It's a GREAT collection!

I bought 2 of these endtables to use in my bedroom as nightstands. The color matched the wood I had perfectly. I put them together myself, the instructions were super easy! They are good quality and size for the money. I absolutely recomend.

I have purchased several "assembly required" furniture pieces over the years and this is by far the nicest looking! It really looks like a more expensive piece and it was a breeze to put together. It took me only 30 minutes and that was with help from my two year old!

I would say it took about 45 minutes to put together. You need extra tools, but it tells you that. Looks great!

I"ve had two of these side tables for a couple of days now and I absolutely love them. They definately look more expensive than they are and they look beautiful in my living room. I have the coffee table on its way and I'm sure that it will be just as stunning as the side tables and complete the look. I would recommend.

I bought 2 Avington side tables over 3 years ago and they still look great. I purchased them along with an Avington coffee table and console table. All three styles looked great when first purchased, but I have to say my side tables have really stood up to the test of time! Including a move! And they weren't difficult to put together- they just took some time. The drawer space is wonderful AND the shelf is much more spacious than it looks like! These are NOT expensive, yet are some of the best quality for the price I've ever encountered. Especially since they tend to go on sale just about every other week! I've gotten rid of my Avington console and coffee table, but still use the side tables everyday. The rest of my furniture now is from a higher end furniture store- people mistake these Target end tables for being from that higher end store all the time. I highly recommend this product!

when you actually receive the product, its hit or miss on how well it was produced. Clearly an assembly line piece, my drawer holes were not aligned properly so the drawer is off kilter. The screws are cheap aluminum so the heads strip easily and I ended up drilling thru the side of the veneer because the drawer frame wasnt aligned properly. I have the tall bookcase but the underside of the top portion was bubbled and the veneer coating peeled off. Its cheap furniture thats overpriced signi ficantly. The 2 shelf model is only [$]cheaper than the 4 shelf model. Come on Target. [...] factory furniture shouldnt cost this much.
