I bought this with high hopes of saving time. The machine steamed great but when it came time to puree, it wouldn't go any finer that mott's applesauce. That just wasn't the consistency I needed for my 6 month old. No chunks is optimal. Found it easier to just use my food processor like I did with my previous child.
