I added the 45 pc set to my Christmas wish list and received it as a gift from a family member. I loved the bamboo design but much to my dismay, the set began rusting after 2 washes in the dishwasher. I followed directions and did not use lemon detergent or leave them in sitting water. [...]

This is a great set of flatware for any kitchen. The pieces are a little larger and heavier that average which I love, and it really makes my dinner settings look classy. Great product and can't wait to buy another set to have more place settings!

This is a great set and looks so nice in person. Each piece is very sturdy but not too heavy to be cumbersome. The ends are smooth and will not poke into your hand while eating. I get many compliments on this set and it looks fantastic with our bamboo placemats. Adds style without compromising function! This set is also kid friendly....my twins have used this set to eat with since they were 4 and never had a problem with the small fork or spoon being too big. It has always fit them just right. That said, the big spoon is big, too big for me to use it with a meal but great for eating soups for adults. My only complaint is I wish they would sell add on sets...we use our small spoons so quickly I would love to have extra without buying all the other peices.Now about the rust...I have NEVER seen one ounce of rust on my sets (have 2). If they were going to rust they would have b/c sometimes they sit in water/dishwasher/counter, etc. I do our dinner dishes the next morning most of the time and my flatware sets have never rusted. I also used the gel tabs in the washer with citrus smell and again no issues. This set is very nice....you will be happy with this set!

I recently ordered this set as a wedding gift for my sister. The silverware does have a nice weight to it & I don't agree with customers who say that it looks cheap. However it is NOT the same silverware as in the photo. The pattern of the silverware is the same but it very differently shaped -it is much flatter than it appears!!! She decided she still wanted to keep it but after a HUGE disappointment when we initially received the order.

I purchased this set to add to my Bamboo Mirror 45-pc. Flatware Set, with the understanding that this was the same flatware. The bamboo design is the same, but that is where the similarities end. The handles are flat, not the heavy, rounded ones of my current set. The forks look like they would easily bend. I am returning this to a Target store, and will purchase another 45 piece set (which I had hoped to avoid).

I have had this flatware over 3 years now and I LOVE it! Never had any rust spots, the only problem I ever have with it is, my kids seem to lose it but that would be on them not the flatware!

I bought these as a gift for my boyfriend and he loves them! They add the perfect touch for his island decor. Unlike some "bamboo" style flatware, they have a good feel in your hands.

I have owned 4 sets of this flatware for more than 5 years now. I use them everyday and on special occasions. Classic, modern, elegant. Great quality. They go in the dishwasher with no problem!

Rust? What rust?! That is simply ridiculous, I live in Hilo, Hawaii in a house 100 yards from the ocean where everything rusts! In two years these have not rusted! There was a review that said they are also flat, I have seen and used the flat version, which is not sold at target,(my boyfriends aunt has that set) and those are terrible. They are flat, and ugly, and have funny lines. They are round, with a great feel and weight. My boyfriend bought the 20 piece set and I bought the 45 piece with the serving utensils from Target online and they came perfect. These are a great buy. I love them, and so do all of our house guests.
