I expected a lot more from this product. I've had it less than a year (and hardly ever use it) and am already trying to find a new one to replace it.

I gave this as a gift, however it appears to be of good quality and as described. Finding a wire cheese slicer wasn't an easy task so I hope the wire holds up and lasts for many years to come. The recipient was pleased.

Have used it several times and works great! Other reviews stated that wire did not line up with groove. Mine lines up perfect and cuts with ease.

Overall, this is pretty handy. My only complaint is that the wire doesn't perfectly align with the notch (it's close enough to make it work, though).

This cheese slicer lasted for only a month or so. After that time, the handle somehow came out of alignment, so that the slicing wire no longer fell in the groove made for it, causing the slicer to not be able to cut all the way through the cheese. We tried to straighten it out, but after a week of working on it, we replaced it. Nice from a looks standpoint, as the bamboo has a clean and smooth look to it.
