I dislike the stiffness of the earpiece but besides that the sound quality is amazing. It has the right amount of bass and is loud enough but not too loud where you don't anything at all, like sirens.

I have been wanting these headphones for a while. My brother has the studio beats and they work amazingly. My dad bought me the white ones. I loved them but they got too dirty to fast so I exchanged it for the black ones. I have had them for about a year now. The aux wires messed up so I had to buy a new one. The grey headpiece on top of the headphones is peeling. And now whenever I listen to music I hear a weird and annoying sound in the right ear. I am just going to take them back and buy me some Skull Candy headphones.

OK, I really really really wanted to like these because they look cool and I've had my eye on them for quite a while. Honestly they did not wow me in any genre, however, there were a few electronic house dance type songs that did sound pretty good. The Beats Solo sound and vocals are distant and garbled in depths of the low range in comparison to the Bose at the same price point and lack the lift and presence of the sound in the Bose. I made the mistake of then comparing the Beats Solo to th e earphones that came with my iPod and a cheap pair of Sonys and each of them sounded cleaner and the buyers remorse set in big time. My take is the Beats Solos are pricey designer wear that fell short of my expectations for the price.

I normally but $XX headphones and they last about a year and then I have to get another pair. I still have my $XX headphones so I can workout but it was time to invest in quality headphones. These headphones are designed for music lovers. If you want to feel and hear every beat then these are the headphones for you. I also like the fact you can collapse them and store them in a soft case. Buy these for the music lover in your life or if you are the music lover!

this is it if your looking for great headphones with the ipod (never tried with other device, and I say with the ipod because of it's adjustable EQ) do not think twice these earphones are spectacular bass is great I listen to "hip hop" and underground stuff! I SAY PERFECTION!

If you are on the fence about this pair of headphones let me tell you that they rock! They will actually vibrate with some of the music I play, the bass is that strong. I heard them once, left the store and could not stop thinking about them until I got my own. You will not be disappointed with them, they sound awesome. The control talk does not work with my phone (Sony Ericcson) but I knew that when I purchased them, control talk is really aimed at Iphone users. Not a problem because I do not want to use these to talk on the phone with. The travel bag is a bonus because I just clip it to the handle of my handbag and off I go. Everyone that I have allows to try them has warned me not to let them get "left behind". They all want a pair now.
