I was pleased when I saw the colors matched my decor. Got the first chair put together easily in 20 mins. Noticed some glue around the edges where the slate is attached. It looked a little tacky so I tried to touch it up with a brown paint. Then I tried putting together the second chair. Looked like the factory didn't measure correctly because when I tried to attach the back to the seat, it wouldn't fit in the pre-made holes. Looked like someone else had the same problem before me because there were scrapes on the sides where someone tried to make it fit. This was so upsetting! [...] Grrr! Now I have to take it back to Target and either reorder item or just start over with my bar stool shopping. Style is nice and it's a comfortable chair. Just super frustrated when assembly is impossible on second chair!!

Well, apparently I got a bad batch because the swivel part does not swivel and almost none of the holes lined up with the ones I needed to screw into.

I love the way these stools look! I get alot of compliments on them.....BUT.... they are not sturdy. The backs wobble, no matter how many times you tighten the screws. I will be looking for a new set soon because these don't seem like they will last very long.

Love the quality of these stools. Shopped at various furniture/dinnette stores and was shocked at how expense the prices were and decided to take a chance on these stools because they were a third of the price. I was very pleased at the look and quality and would say it is comparable to others I considered purchasing at one of furniture store. Would highly recommend them to others.

I had bought two before and realized that I liked them so much and could make space for two more. Arrived quickly, easy assembly. Great look, great quality, great value! Definitely recommend.

I was looking for some nice, solid wood, counter-height stools, but once I saw what solid wood stools were selling for, I decided to check out other options. I initially ordered only one of these online to see how I liked it before ordering 2 more. With free shipping and the ability to return it to the store if dissatisfied, I thought, what have I got to lose? It took 20-30 minutes to put together and there were no missing parts. It is comfortable and swivels smoothly. The pads on the bottom of the legs can be screwed in or out so that the stool sits level and doesn't rock. It is made of sturdy metal and not thin and flimsy. The real slate on the back of the chair is the prettiest part of the stool. Needless to say, I ordered two more of these stools, which ended up being on sale for 30% off. I was absolutely thrilled about that! Overall, this is a great stool for the money and no regrets on purchasing them.

I ordered these stools and was a little apprehensive about them, because the price was so reasonable.. What a wonderful surprise, when they arrived... they are beautiful, and expensive looking. they are heavy, and the seat is very comfortable... You can't go wrong with these stools,with free shipping, and if needed- can be returned to the store... I love, them... we have a rock fireplace, and a cedar bar. these chairs, fit the bill perfectly....

Ordered two of these chairs a few months ago, they were delivered very quickly & with no problem. Love the look, have gotten many compliments! The assembly was no problem with one, but had a small problem with the other. When trying to screw in the floor protectors, we found that two of the holes were only partially cleaned out in the factory, making it very difficult to get those two in to were they needed to be and balanced. Otherwise, very nice chairs for the money. The microfiber seat i s actually larger than I imagined, plenty of room, very comfortable! The legs are all one piece, making them more sturdy then some others we have looked at that had legs which were 2 or 3 pieces put together. Over all - very happy with my purchase!

The chairs were relatively easy to put together. They are in several pieces. They are as beautiful as the picture online. Very sturdy - they are adjustible so they level nicely - no rocking. The 24" fit perfectly for my Kitchen Island. I would recommend these chairs to anyone for purchase.

Ordered these stools on 5/23 they were on my door steps 4 days later! Very nice chair for the money, easy to assemble and they look great. I would definately order from Target.com again the service is second to none.
