Just purchased this item and used it in a small room off my kitchen. Room size was about 10 foot by 12 foot, minus the furniture couch and 2chairs. First off the assembly was a piece of cake but had to fill up the tank twice to do that 1 little room and the floor did not dry any quicker than my [...] it still took about 5 hours to dry and the floor did not feel any warmer than other cleaners so not sure if the heat really works however the floor did come out pretty clean also I thought the mac

I bought this particaular cleaner 2 years ago. I was perfectly happy with it and would have told you that it was the best purchase but changed my mind. I tried cleaning my carpets just the other day and for some reason it just stopped working in the middle of the entire living room. Now I spent [$]for it only to last 2 years, waste of my money cause now I have to buy another one cause I have 2 kids who play on the floor and 2 dogs that sometimes have accidents, Sorry Bissell, but you have to w

We always own a Bissell product, when I left [...] I left my old one to my son and I have to get a new one, this is the one product no household should do without. The Bissell is easy to use and it cleaned as advertised.
hands down the best cleaner i have ever used. my mom and i split the cost, we usually just rent a rug doctor - never again, this does a 100x better job!! highly recommended.
I don't understand all the highly detailed reviews about this machine, most of them claiming that it's a modern miracle. I recently purchased it, and it works alright. I get the same results with a vinegar solution and a shop vac, but this is just more convenient. Old, set in stains on a white carpet will still show. It did a good job of fluffing up the carpet on a high-traffic area, and did visibly brighten by picking up dirt. It outright does a terrible job of picking up pet hair. I have two
short-haired dogs and the machine just produced gross wet balls of dog hair that it left sitting on the carpet.
I was very disappointed with this machine. We used it once and stored it properly away and when we went to use it again approx. one year later the main unit didnt work, just the hand cleaner which isn't quallity when you look at the price point of this item. I am buying another brand which is highly recommended and hope that it lasts more than one use. What a disappointment this machine was, waste of money. Goes to show the expensive price doesn't equal quality.
Like everyone else, I've been reasearching a carpet cleaner for a while. I wanted to get a cheap [...], because I trusted the brand and heard good things, but my husband talked me into spending a little more on one. This Bissell had a lot of features for the price. I have two children under 4 yrs old and have many set-in stains. We moved into our house 6 mo ago and we already had stains on the carpet! We also rent and I wanted to keep the carpet looking good. t up! We've had everything from [soda] to juice and various other stains on our carpet. I had always rented a carpet cleaner from the grocery store in the past and this works 10X better! The dirty water container is a little small, but I really didn't mind emptying it. It was amazing how much dirt was in my carpet. I used the attachment to really get down in the set in stains on my carpet and it did an excellent job. I haven't used the upolostry tool yet. I think the thing that makes this product work great is all the brushes. It does a great job of brushing the carpet and a getting deep down clean. This is a great buy and worth the $$!
We were thrilled with this cleaner! It got up stains that had been in the carpet for years. Literally. An added plus is that the nap is fluffier now on our carpet. Yay!I would recommend this to anyone without hesitation.
