Black and Decker 10 Speed Cyclone Blender - Black product details page

After reading most of the Negative Reviews on this unit, we had to post are units Positive Review. We have had this model for about a year and a half now. I bought it at Target on sale. We only use it to blend hard dog food every other week. We blend 2 cups at a time to make12 cups total. We use pulse a number of times just to start the blend then punch blend for a minute or two. It has done a excellent job. In the year and a half that we have owned the unit has never given us a problem. Unt il the night before last when the drive shaft to the blade snapped at the blade end. In the long and short of things we find that this unit was well worth the price. We got out of the unit what we needed and them some. I have checked into replacing the blade unit and at the replacement cost for the blade and shipping cost we will buy the same unit once again from Target. We gave this unit 5 STARS

I just bought this blender I love it. I like the look. We use it all the time. It's easy to clean and easy to use Good buy for the price.

My old black and decker was starting to leak so I decided it was time for a new one. I stuck with the same brand because I had really enjoyed my old one. The new blender is good, it works. However, I feel at times the blender could fall out of the base. It doesn't have a twist and lock feature like my old one, it just has ridges to set the blender into. Overall it's not bad. I don't use my blender everyday so I can deal with it.

I didn't listen to the other reviewers and bought this piece of junk when it was on sale...I used only a few times and today it is completely dead. I can't believe it, so disappointed,

I'm surprised at the reviews on this page. I bought one of these months ago and it's probably the best blender I've had. When I went to Target, I thought all the others looked terrible and cheap and nasty. I went with this Black & Decker because it was the simplest blender there without all the [...] gadget nonsense, it was a good size and it had a solid glass jug to it. It's the easiest blender to clean out of all the blenders I've owned. So that's it. I would buy it again. If I was to add anything to it, I would put a safety switch in there: you can press the buttons while the jug's off and the mechanism will spin. I'd be wary of that if I had kids.

I've used my B&D blender about 4 times, the last in which the spinning mechanism under the pitcher cracked in half and began to melt and the motor started smoking. I expected more from this brand!

This blender is cheap, and so is its quality. It died after not too many uses. Somehow the plastic keeping the blade in place got torn up and I was left with plastic chips in the thing I was blending. Yuck! Next time, I'll definitely spend more money and get a better blender.

This is the loudest blender I've ever heard. Not to mention high pitched. I was afraid my neighbors would complain that I was blending after 8pm. Tried it a second time and said heck no, this is going back to the store. It blended my smoothie just fine but if you're looking for a quieter blender.. this is NOT IT.

Wow, I guess I got lucky cause I've had this blender for almost a year now and haven't experienced any of the issues noted in other reviews. I wanted an inexpensive blender that performed basic functions well and that's exactly what I got. Yes, it is noisy, but I've yet to come across a blender that isn't. But as far as performance, nothing has broken or fallen apart and it performs its duties just fine with anything I throw at it. Somebody needed to stand up for this poor underdog!

Unfortunately I did not check these reviews before I bought this product. What a piece of garbage. I grabbed the cheapest blender in a store but obviously you get what you paid for. This blender does not mix anything at all. Solid food...nope. The blade is so small and poor quality that the foods just stay where they are. Even liquid....same thing.
