I got this bouncer for my grandson who was 2 mos. old when he got it. He loved to be bounced so I was excited for him to get it. I was very disappointed to hear that it does not bounce hard enough for the baby to feel it when he is in the bouncer. It may work for small babies, but for 12 plus lbs. it doesn't bounce hard enough to make a difference. Very disappointed.
I have two for my preemie twins and have NEVER experienced some of the strange things people have said on here. The bolsters were perfect for my very small girl, keeping her head in line. Use receiving blankets if you need more support. She loves to sit upright and will lean forward to do so and has never fallen forward. The harness is very secure. A few have said this sits too upright. My son likes to lay back and it was still reclined enough to make him happy. I also used it to feed them bef
ore we had a high chair for them. The bounce is perfect. If yours is not bouncing you need new batteries, which I've only had to change once in 4 mos and we use these bouncers constantly. We never bought a swing because the movement was sufficient enough to calm them and lull them to sleep when needed. I've used several bouncers, having 4 kids, and this is by far the best quality I've ever used. Hope that helps!
I chose this for the neutral colors. I really should have done my research. This bouncer is much too upright. At first I thought I put it together wrong. Then I thought surely it had a different setting to recline. Nope! That's just the way it is! My newborn kept falling forward from the waste down. The strap was the only thing holding him in. It was awful. I sold it and used the swing and Rock n' Play. I'll get a different one for our next baby.
I'm a first time mom and didn't really know what to get- we don't have much room and I wanted one of these or a small swing. I took a chance on this and I'm glad. Easy to assemble. Like others have said, the seat is pretty vertical. So, when our son was a newborn, we bolstered and propped him up in there pretty well and it was fine. Now that he's about 3 months I'm glad it's upright because he can see what's going on. It's like a little recliner he can hang out in. We don't always use the bounc
e or the music, but it's nice to have it just in case. Ours only has one bouncing speed and it's just right. The toy bar is admittedly a little lame, but aren't they all? Other bouncers I found with nothing to them seemed to cost only a little less than this, and it was a lot less than any swing I found. Plus, this was the only one that bounced instead of vibrated, which I really like. Clearly, every baby is different and yours may hate this- but mine loves it, and so do I.
I am SO glad we got this. I wouldve had many sleepless nights so far without it. It has the perfect amount of bounce and even a gentle setting if I put my daughter in just after shes eaten. It's perfectly safe, not sure about the other persons post about their kid slipping out and almost strangling them. If you put your kid in right that seems pretty impossible to me.

This is a good bouncer. It works well, the batteries last a long time and the lining is easy to remove and clean. The only con is that it is hard to put together if you are a single mom. I tried putting it together when I received it in the mail but had to wait for my husband to come home to finish the assembly.
Overall, I am pleased with this bouncer. Pros are that it actually bounces the baby (not too strong though) sometimes I use my hand too when she wants a slightly stronger bounce. I have the matching swing and actually prefer the swing a little. We did not like the bouncer for the first month because it was so upright- now we like to put her in it after she eats so that she doesn't spit up as much.
Bought this bouncer after my daughter was born (she is now 10months) and she still loves it. It was perfect when she was a newborn for naps. I think that the bounce it gives is the right amount. She still loves to sit in it now and look at books and play with her toys. I think this is one of the best purchases we made.
I recieved this bouncer as a shower gift and I absolutely loved it. Three time though I found my baby dangling by the strap. The first two times weren't too bad and I thought it was a coincidence because my baby was feeling well but the third time she was completely forward and to the left with her head about an inch from the ground!!!! Imagine if I was in the shower when this happened??? I called the company...they said they aren't aware of the problem...which means nothing will be done about
it anytime soon!!! Please becareful!! After talking to other friends I found two more friends that found their babies dangling from one of these!
