After searching for long time for a machine for a beginner level, I decided to buy this. It is very convenient & easy.Instructions are very easy to follow. I had no problems threading it although I have never used a sewing machine before.

I recently tried a search for good machine and after spending sometime I found that this is the best sewing machine I could go for. I ordered it from Target because it is the only best option for me [...] and I am using this and truly happy with Target service :)

This machine arrived on time and was a breeze to set up and start working on. It will be the perfect machine for simple projects and repairs. I recommend it to anyone who does light sewing and wants a simplified machine. It has different stitches, buttonholer and zipper on it. What more do you need?

I have been afraid of sewing for years and intimidated by sewing machines. I tried my friend's machine which was identical to this one, liked it and felt comfortable so I bought this one which is very similar and I love it. It's simple and easy to use, but looks like I could easily advance to some more complicated projects someday..

Perfect for beginers! I havn't found any flaws in this machine yet. It does an excellent job on all my basic needs. I would recommend this item to everyone! I am very happy with this purchase.

Good for a beginner sewer, or even comfortable recreational/mending sewer. Bought for my 7 year-old daughter who took sewing classes and she has no problems using it with ease. Not too many buttons but enough variety of stitches to have some creativity.

My daughter is into fashion. Instead of buying a toy sewing machine as beginner, I bought the Brother LS21251 model. It is the best gift. She is learning a skill and the machine is easy enough to handle that she doesn't get frustrated. She amazes herself when she is done. Now she wants to make the family gifts. I bought this sewing machine for my daughter. I've been sewing since I was 6 or 7 and I was always fearful of my children touching my sewing machines! Well, my daughter is a wife and mother now and she needed her own. Today is her birthday--I won't tell her age because I am not really old enough to have a child that age! Well, we had her, her husband and their little one over yesterday for a birthday celebration for her. And when she opened the box, she was speechless! Very pleased to have her own. She has plans to make curtains, Christmas stockings, and the list goes on.
