about LOVE this item, but was damaged when received. review
This case looked to be in perfect condition until I loaded it up and noticed that the pin was missing off of the hinge. I had to take it back to the store and since they don''t carry it in the store, I received a refund. I ended up reordering this item again [...]. I hope I won't get another damaged one because then the return will be a [...] It has three fold out trays on each side though, and the bottom well is deep enough even after closed to house my 3 eyeshadow kits (88 colors each). this
kit is AWESOME.
I ordered this for my 7 yr old daughter. She wanted a case like Hannah Montana. She absolutely loves it. Seems to be well made and professional looking. I gave it 4 stars simply because it's being used as a toy and I can't speak to it's durability as a true cosmetics case. Arrived very quickly.
I've never been one for makeup...but as I'm getting older I've discovered it can be fun. This case makes it so easy to keep my facial products and cosmetics organized and easy to locate.
I had been looking for a huge train case to hold all of my make-up & I found it! I use Bare Minerals make-up & with all of the containers normal make-up cases get full quick....not this one! I have ALL of my make-up (liners, shadows, foundation, all my brushes (in the bottom...in their own bag), face moisturizer, a bottle of BE prep, mascara......you name it I've got it in there! I bet I have 30 containers of BE & they all fit....I'm so happy! I agree it is heavy but I'm not carryin
g it around with me everywhere so its not that big of a deal & a mirror would have been nice but I usually put my face on at home where I have plenty of mirrors so once again its not a big deal! This is the largest one I have found so far without spending the entire bank roll! Another great product by Caboodle <3
I've been a makeup veteran for the last 20+ years. Worked for many professional makeup companies such as Estee, MAC, and so on. I have brought numerous cases and bags, when I saw this one I thought it to be perfect minus a mirror though. Problem was that after 6 months or so the trays hinges came off, wish it was constructed better. Had to buy a new won. Hope they come out with a better version. :)
I love this case, it looks sleek and professional, but it's far less expensive than other brands. I love the trays, but I remember when i was a teenager I had a caboodles case with little square lipstick slots and everything, and I wish this had that. I actually have to buy another one, because mine is totally full!! (No, it's not all for me!! I am an amature makeup artist and my friends all make me do their makeup when we go out) The brush holders on the lid are great, and there's plenty of sp
ace under the trays for larger objects. I can even fit my Urban Decay Liquid Liner in the bottom, standing up, with room to spare!! Love love love this case!Edit: I now have two of these, completely full. I found a little acrylic lipstick organizer that i put in the bottom to hold all my lipsticks. i haven't decided if i should get another one like this, or a smaller one and dedicate it to just eye makeup
my cousin own's this case, she brought it to my house and it encouraged me to check it out here at target. it is very nice and hold's lot's of things but when the shelves come out they aren't held by anything stable so instead of being straight they sorta tip. it made me worried it would break off. I then checked out other cases with the shelves on the side, even though those kinds don't hold as much. I would recomend this to someone who own's A LOT of make-up, but if you would just like someth
ing nice for travel you should get the one's with the shelves one the side.
I have had this case for about a year now. I absolutely love the design. It holds & organizes everything well & has where to put the brushes. The only problem that not even 6 months after I bought it, the supports holding the trays broke away from the rest of the case, so now every time I open or close the box one side crashes in or out. If the case was more durable, would definitely be a 5
I just brought this case today. It is my first real makeup case. I just got into the makeup thing and I've been searching for a case to remove my makeup out of ziplock bags...LOL Any way I searched and when I ran across this; I had to have it. It holds all the makeup that I have and it will hold all the new makeup and the supplies that I had ordered last night and today. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a case that does its job and have a large capacity. The only con that it
has is that there is no mirror. I will just be creative and add one...
This is my first "real" cosmetic case. Ive upgraded from my 1st caboodle to this one. Sadly its already clear that the latch system will someday be a pain, the sides fold under sometimes and I have to rearrange it to close. I dont mind that for now, but when I pay more that 40 for a case it better work better than this one. My old Jellies Caboodle lasted me over 14 years! So I have faith in this brand. Heres how I use it: The compartments fit all my full size brushes, lotions, prime/p
reps, and daily cosmetics. In the bottom storage area Ive place more of my special occasion needs including nailpolish, cotton balls, qtips, hairclips/pins, etc. Great upgrade, but deffinately not "Professional Level"
