it was pretty easy to put together, it's pretty basic, the drawer is quite large, overall its nice

Great for a college student. It holds my laptop and a notebook for homework with ease. The only complaint I have is that the holes didn't line up on the pull out keyboard holder. So I had to force the screws in at a better spot. Other that that this is a great desk for the price.

This desk is exactly what I wanted. It was easy to put together and sturdy, but not too heavy. It went together very easily and quickly. I was concerned about the drawer, but it slides wonderfully. The big sticker was a little work to remove, but after I pulled off most of the paper, a little nail polish remover removed the remaining glue. The desk is perfect for a small space and ideal for a laptop computer. I am very satisfied with the size, price, and quality of this product. I have n ever before rated a product online, but am so happy with this desk, I felt compelled to do so! Happy in Fort Lauderdale

This desk was a gift for my sister, who moved into a new apartment. She wanted something that was not going to take up the whole room and hold her laptop and other essentials. She loves it. I would purchase it again.

My husband and I needed his and hers desks for our tiny bungalow office and didn't want to spend a fortune, these were exactly what we needed! They are a little on the small side so if you are looking for a giant workspace this desk isn't for you. My husband has an [...] and desk lamp on top and still have plenty of workspace. I love the fact that there is a drawer/keyboard drawer with a flip-down front, when I want to use the desk as a craft station I just slide my laptop into the drawer and v oila! We received our desks in a timely manner and they arrived in great condition. My husband and I both put them together and it was very easy and both desks turned out to be nice and sturdy. I've been looking at this desk in stores for a while now, and when it went on sale recently I snapped it up! I just wanted a small desk for my room to put my laptop on and do homework, and this desk is perfect for that! I put it together on my own, and it only took about an hour and a half. My only complaint is that it's a little wobbly. Maybe I didn't tighten the cam locks enough, but I don't think that's it. Also, one of the legs was a bit short, but I put a furniture pad under it and tha t fixed that problem! One other thing is that the top scratches VERY easily, so be careful with what you sit on it. I've just sat my laptop and books on it, and it has lots of small scratches. Oh, also, I probably should have realized that it would be there, but I got grease from the drawer sliding part all over my hands and on the desk when I was putting it together, so just watch out for that! All in all, I LOVE the desk! I've loved all of the Target furniture I've bought!

For some reason, the manufacturer felt the need to place a very large white sticker warning of the dangers of not securing furniture to the wall to avoid tipping right on the outside finished surface of the back apron of the desk, i.e., where the back of the drawer hits. And its not the easy removal type sticker, they meant it to be permanent. It's pretty useless information for a piece of furniture that is only 30 inches high and has a very low possibility of tipping. Thankfully I am puttin g the desk against a wall and the sticker will be hidden. And the ironic thing is that I bought three of the matching Carson tall bookcases that can tip easily - and not a sticker in sight on any of them. Its too bad a small attention to detail ruined this item. So beware - know that the desk has to go against the wall.

Nice design and size, not too difficult to assemble.Don't let the description fool you, there is plenty of wood composites in this desk.They provide wood dowels but no glue and no mentioning of glue in the instructions.Assembled, the desk looks really nice and is fairly sturdy, but the finish chips away very easily.

I see that most reviews here are positive, and well warranted. If you're looking for this size desk for tight spaces, it's a Winner. Unlike others, mine came undamaged besides a very small nick, which is expected when you buy desks off a shelf. Would have given it 5 stars, but I'm not a fan of particle board. However, this desk is made much better than its cheaper counterparts out there. I highly recommend this desk to anyone looking in this price range, much more sturdy than others. Cam lockin g system seems to work, Color is nice and even, ( I got the Espresso), lines are smooth, and the drawer is very functional. Took a little less than an hour to assemble. Enjoy.
