I love a cordless tea pot but I got this one for christmas and my husband took it back for it leaked all over the counter and they replaced it . now I have the same one again it is leaking. I will not buy it a gain

This was my first electrical kettle. I wanted to INVEST in one since I love tea and would need it in the future for the workplace. I was excited when it came and used it everyday (a few times a day) for 1 week according to the instructions. Each time I used it, the "push on" switch would not stay down. After a few tries each use(pushing it quickly, slowly, and/or holding it down for a few seconds), it would work. However, there were times that the switch would pop back up after about 30 seconds. I would try pushing the switch down again and it would finally work. I initially thought that maybe I was pushing the lever wrong, but after using it several times for 1 week, I've become a bit frustrated so I'm returning it. I like how quick it works and it's overall design (water capacity, handle, filter, opening)so I will get another one. Who knows, maybe this one was just defective. To be continue...

I have had this electric kettle for 3 years now and it is reliable, easy to use, fast, and pours great. Never had a problem with it. Great buy.

I've had my Chef's Choice Cordless Electric Kettle for almost three years and have enjoyed being able to heat up water quickly without heating up the kitchen. But it quit working and now it's [..] more than when I first bought it. Do I buy this one again since I like the way it looks or do I look for something else?

This is the second Chef's Choice electric kettle I have purchased. It was a gift for my son's home. It is an excellent kettle. The top opens easily with a button on the handle and the opening is wide. The lighted button at the back tells you it is on and heating and it is quiet. Ours has lasted more than 2 years and still works well. Target delivered it on time, in good condition.

This is a wonderful electric tea kettle. I love mine so much that I gave one to each member of my family and put a couple in my B&B.

I used this pot regularly and was VERY pleased with it; however, after using it for about a year it quit working. The heating element went out on it.

1500 watts means that it takes less time to heat your water. Auto turn-off means you do not waste a BTU of energy when the water has reached the desired temperature. Cordless allows for easy washing, storage and more elegant serving. Stainless steel is healthy and the design is very nice. It may be 20.00 more then some of the cheapest but it's worth a whole lot more.
