Okay, so apparently if you're looking for something to put closetmaid baskets in, this isn't what you want. HOWEVER, if you're looking for a small bookshelf to organize cookbooks or coloring books, etc. this is great. There are two partitions and it works best for me to put them somewhat close together in the middle so that i can have taller books on top and bottom. Then I lay several horizontally in the middle section. This perfectly solved my dilemma of where to put my cookbooks in a limited space area. I took away one star for quality of materials but I definitely think it's a useful piece of furniture.

This shelf is smaller than the other closetmaid line. The shelves are always falling out. Not pleased at all really

I received this as a gift and was excited to have something to help organize my hall closet. However, as I put it together, the particle board was falling apart, the shelves fall - even though it is advertised as a vertical or horizontal, and 3 closet maid cloth baskets do not fit in the slots - only 2 with a little strange area left over. This will be going back to Target.

If only I'd read the reviews before I bought this in the store! I bought it expecting to fit the canvas drawers in it- that didn't happen! The thing is, I didn't realize this until I'd completely put it together and was ready to put the canvas boxes in it. What a waste of time...

I was looking for something with adjustable shelves to organize curriculum and other homeschool stuff without taking up too much space. These are great! The whole system is modular, which means I can pick exactly the pieces I want and need for my space and they all have similar dimensions. They can stack on top of each other and come with brackets to do so. Overall, GREAT for the price.

I wish I had read the reviews! First off, you CANNOT fit 3 of the closetmaid canvas baskets in here...only two, with a weird small space leftover. Next, the shelves are very unstable and constantly fall out! I bought it for my daughters nursery and found that it is infact not safe enough for her room! Wouldnt reccomend!

This is not worth the small price you pay. Took it out of the box and it was in okay condition. Went to the trouble of putting it together - top and bottom are fastened to the sides with 8 screws. One screw didn't want to pull the pieces together, so I pressed on them and it ripped the laminate and part of the particle board away from the area around the screw. I thought I'd go ahead anyway, since the screw held in the damage. So I started to nail the backing on. The first nail in the top part was fine, but the second nail went through the bottom piece and cut a sizeable chunk out of the particle board. I've bought pieces like this before but never had something that would fall apart so easily. It is going back to the store - frustrated that I wasted my time with it.

This is the the third ClosetMaid Shelving System I've purchased, and up until now I have been very happy with them. I've had no problems with the particle board, assembly or durability. What surprised me with this unit is that you assume you can fit three of the cloth baskets into because it has three shelves, but you can't. The shelves are adjustable, and only fit two baskets, with a very short shelf left over. I should have checked the height measurements instead of assuming. Now I can't retu rn it, but still need more space. Moral of my story: Check your measurements before you buy--don't assume!
