I just bought this while it was on sale to put at the top of my stairs. The assembly was pretty simple, and it adds a great touch of organization to my hallway. I did scratch the finish a little while assembling, but it was only [$] so, you can't expect top dollar quality.

I bought this because we needed extra bathroom storage and just to hide miscellaneous things. It was super easy to put together and didn't take much time at all. Out of the box right away i noticed some nicks here and there, maybe i just got a bad one. And while attaching the back cardboard panels, as i was hammering one of the nails in on a corner that had been nicked it split the entire corner of wood but i fixed it up with my Mighty Mend It. Luckily it was the bottom piece that sits on the f loor. Besides that it looks great and you can dress it up any way you want! I really do love it. Great to hide things away. I bought the brown woven milk crates and they look great in it! And for the price of this you can't beat it! We'll see how it holds up over the years.

Easy to put together, didnt take much time.. and looks great with all the baskets and bins i got to go with it.. reading the directions is a must, to put it together correctly...

Second one I purchased and it was broken out of the box, as I put it together it continued to break. Very disappointed, [...] has better furniture than Target. Unbelievable.

Easiest furniture I've ever put together. All the holes were in the right places and lined up perfectly. Will have triple duty in my studio apartment as dresser, entertainment center and shelving unit. Absolutely LOVE it.

I love this shelf, it looks great! MY only gripe is that I wish they didn't lable the long pieces. You just have to go by the how many holes are in each piece. Other than that it was not too difficult to put together, and the end result is great!

wasn't sure if I wanted these b/c I didn't know if it would be cheap. But I finally got them b/c they were for the kids playroom and I needed something to organize my daughters' toys and books. I was happily surprised. the actually bookcase is pretty well made and sturdy. the backing is totally cheap, but thankfully no one will notice the back, plus our bookcases are absolutely full. THis looks really nice with the canvas drawers as well. really happy with the purchase!

my husband and I received this after putting it on our wedding registry. The first time we went to put it together it fell apart close to being finished due to the pressurized wood being weak. Ok we took a deep breath and brought it to target for an exchange the people who worked there were wonderful about it and we brought it home again for try number 2. This time the holes dug for the dowels used to hold it together weren't deep enough on one side of one board so the dowel was sticking out to o far when we went to put the top piece on and again the particle wood broke apart straight through to the top! By this time we had had enough so we just cut down the dowels a little bit finished putting it together and since the bottom and top are interchangeable flipped it over. It's cute... but I wont be getting any more because of how cheaply made it is for the price. I'd rather spend a little more at [ ] and have something that doesn't fall apart quiet so fast

Both my sister and I have this piece and we both love it! It was very easy to assemble and only took my boyfriend and I about 10 minutes. It is very sturdy and does not shake or sway. I have it in my living room under our TV that is mounted and it is the perfect piece to go there! We didn't put in the backs on any of the holes so that I can put all of my cords through and it works great. I highly recommend this product!
