My previous dryer burned out and I was on the hunt for a new one. I knew it needed to be powerful, but didn't have anything specific in mind. Based on the reviews for this dryer, I picked it up at my local Target. Verdict? This dryer is AMAZING, especially for the low price. Don't buy a CHI for 100 bucks, just put this in your cart and call it a day. Super powerful and makes my hair feel great! Others have said it doesn't get hot enough, but with the amount of power it all evens out. I've not iced if you put it on medium it gets a bit hotter, but it's not really needed. I think it will help hair stay soft and undamaged. This dryer, because of the power, cut down the time it takes to style my hair by about 15 minutes. If you find that this dryer blows your hair around and tangles it, you're using it wrong. If you know how to really use a blow dryer to style, you shouldn't have a problem.

I had heard a lot of good feedback from both friends and family about this hairdryer and thought I would try it. I got it for a great deal after Christmas and hoped all the good reviews I'd read would hold true for me too. I HATE spending good money on a worthless product. I was amazed at how nice it was when I took it out of the box, it just seemed sturdy and well built. I combed out my very long -9 inches past my shoulders, thick and wavy hair, plugged it in a started the drying process. I wa s done in less than 10 minutes! It usually takes me at least 20 minutes to dry & smooth out my hair! My hair looked shinier, was less frizzy & I didn't even need to use my flat iron. I would recommend this hairdryer without reservation, if you have hair like mine it's a must-have.

I have finer long, layered hair. All this dryer did was blow the heck out of it, tangled it all up and I didn't think it dried it any faster than any other dryer did. It was also difficult to use to style my hair with a round brush. Tangles all over the place. NOT hot enough and it blows too hard. Too heavy. There was also no diffuser attachment with it. I returned it to the store. [..]

I got this because I'd read how powerful it was and how quickly it dried hair. Why yes, it is powerful and it does dry my semi-long, thick hair in about 10 minutes. I like the color. I think it is a good buy for the price. However, it pulls my hair into the back and I have to rip my hair out..breaking it off. It's very painful and this is not safe. I'm not satisfied, but I don't have the receipt or box anymore..so I guess I'll have to deal with it.

Sure, it's a little heavier with an AC motor than a DC motor, and it's a little louder. But the loudness isn't as high-pitched and annoying. It dries my hair quickly and without drying it out. The casing doesn't get hot to the touch and it doesn't smell like plastic while I'm drying my hair. I really like this hair dryer!

One of the reasons I bought this dryer was because of the good reviews. Most people said it was really hot and dried quickly. Not for me! My hair is very curly and very thick. It wasn't hot enough. It also blew all of my hair instead of just hitting what was in my brush, while trying to dry it straight. Because of that, my hair dried too quickly and turned out frizzy. [...]

I love it, it's really fast, and it saves so much time especially in the morning. I thought it's a little heavy though, but that's because i'm really weak!

I bought this dryer hoping it would not dry out my hair. The settings are perfect. I have very thick and long hair. This dryer make my hair shiney and smooth. It doesn't take long to dry. Perfect for the [$] price.

I've had this dryer for about 2 months now and really like it. It dries my hair quick and makes it really soft. I tried out a bunch of dryers that just weren't that great and was relieved when I found this one. It is a bit louder than others I've had in the past, but not too bad. Overall a great buy!

I bought this hair dryer last week based on the reviews i read. This dries my hair super fast and i love the option of having warm or hot. The cold shot is definately the best on any hairdryer ive ever owned. I would definately recommend this product. I was using an old hairdryer that basically wore itself out and moving to this one was like a dream. I've got long hair and i can do a complete blow dry in 10 minutes.
