I bought two stainless stovetop percolators. One is Farberware, and the bottom plate is joined by a roll-over crimp like that on a soup can. The Copco pot is much easier to clean because there are no ever narrowing seams in it's base. They both work very well as coffee percolators, but this one is way easier to clean.

Despite what others say, this pot is all stainless. It appears to have solved the numerous design problems I've had with camping pots in the past. I think it'll work out nicely and am glad for the purchase. Looking forward to a fine cup of coffee and I think this will be my last pot purchase.

I bought this percolator for my mother for Christmas because she has always sworn that nothing beats the taste of a cup of percolated coffee. We have enjoyed it immensely, it is relatively simple to clean and reassemble. I am very happy with this purchase.

Very nice! I bought the 6 cup Copco Percolator

After returning a Hamilton-Beach electric percolator because it died after only 2 uses, I decided to just go back to the old-fashioned way of brewing coffee by buying a stove-top percolator. The only one they had in the store was a 6-cup Copco, a brand I never heard of before, but thought I'd take a chance on it. I think it is a great product and I'm not disappointed. I'm hoping it will last for yrs. After reading the review of it possibly being aluminum and not stainless steel, I also did a mag net test and even called the company. The 6-cup perc is definitely stainless steel, which makes me quite happy. I, too, would be concerned with any product made of aluminum knowing its health hazards. I'd highly recommend this product and give it 5 stars.

I have had a Copco stovetop percolator for about 30 years. The previous reviewer is wrong. Magnets do not attach to stainless steel. My plastic top piece wore out, but Fitz-all has a replacement glass knob that looks better than the original.
