I purchased this 2 years ago for my then 5 yr old boy. It is great for organizing colors. He enjoys being able to look at his color options. Great product even after 2 years..will be letting baby sister use it soon.

Pros: You get lots of crayons for the priceGreat way to keep crayons in one placeCons:Some of the crayons are poor quality (glitter ones)The sharpener doesn't workThe tower doesn't stay upOverall, I do recommend this for a toddler. Older kids might find the quality of some of the crayons frustrating to deal with.

THE TOWER WILL FALL DOWN IF YOU ARE ROUGH WITH IT. THEY SHOULD HAVE IT SNAP INTO PLACE BETTER. MY KIDS HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE TOWER. IT DOES COME WITH GREAT SPECIAL COLORS, METALLICS, GLITTERS, NEON... FABULOUS FUN, GREAT DISPLAY EASY TO USE. THE ONLY SPECIALTY COLORS I'VE FOUND TO REPLACE IS ONLY IN TARGET AND ONLY IN THE BOOK/COLORING BOOK SECTION. THEY SELL A BOX OF GLITTER CRAYONS. [...]. ONLY THAT SECTION THOUGH, NOT NOT NOT IN THE REGULAR CRAYONS/SCHOOL ISLE.

My daughter has always loved to color and draw and ever since we got this for her this past summer, she absolutely loves it!! She loves the fact that she doesn't have to fish through her old crayon box for the one she wants and the crayons are easy to find and put away..plus you can pull the top part to make a complete tower..NO MORE MISSING CRAYONS!! Highly recomended!! Well worth the money..

My two daughters actually like to put the crayons away in this tower and it snaps closed so the crayons don't fall out. They never put the crayons back into the cheap boxes so this keeps the crayons off the floor.

This is nice just for the simple fact you no longer have to dig to the bottom of the container we kept our old crayons in looking for that one color you want. not only can you see each color perfectly it also comes with regular colors, neon, metallic & glitter crayons, all in one pack! Only thing I would complain about is the layers tend to fall like I listed in the pip-squeak marker review. Over all my nephew loves it and I would buy it again for him.
