At temperatures over 80degreesF the glaze leaches lead into your food. The low setting cooks at 170F Prop 65 Warning is listed on Target.com. I am a chemical engineer and work in a lab, so I tested it myself. This model leaches dangerously high levels of lead into your food. BEWARE ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE PREGNANT OR FEEDING CHILDREN PLEASE be careful when shopping for crock pots, clay, ceramic or anything glazed. Lead poisoning happens over a long period of time. It builds in your tissues over time. [...] Solution contained 2.71ppm Pb, almost 3 times what is allowed by the FDA. My crock pot has a new home in the trash.

Our last crock pot cracked and we were so lost without one. So we ordered this one from Target and the color even matches our dishware. We have enjoyed every use of it. It is easy to maintain & you just stuff it, set it and go! Very happy with it!

The temperature gauge should go from left to right OFF, WARM, LOW, HIGH.. i do like the red color, but the crock doesn't get very hot. I had to put my roast in the oven to get done ' And I had it in long enough in the slow cooker.. I did here the slower cookers you can set a timer are great????????????????? But not liking this one takes to long to cook larger items. Thanks Judy

It was a good thing that I've noticed it right away or I would have ruin the dinner. The lid never had a good seal, so this problem will force me to go out and get a better one.

This is my first slow cooker. I love it! It is easy to use and clean up is a breeze. Perfect for cooking pork shoulder, whole chickens, soups and stews. I've already saved a lot of money to cook with it. It is great for maybe a couple or a small family.
