After trying about 5 different docks... I found this gem! I have an old iPod Classic and find it extremely difficult to find a nice dock that is actually compatible! I found this and was ecstatic! I was at my local Target and on the price tag it said [$$]. [...]Only problem I am having is changing the volume. It's at a constant volume but if I can not resolve the problem I'm taking it back and exchanging it! Overall fantastic product!

i love crosely products vintage look, and have several of their products in my old house. i hope they continue with the docking stations and develop multiple styles, much like their radios/entertainment centers. it is true and disappointing that when docked, the speaker will not play Pandora, or other internet radio. I have a sleep machine app that i really would like to put through the speaker easily.there is a work around. switching the mode to AUX and using a cable will allow you to play Pan dora and formats other than the IPOD, however, you do lose remote functionality...

I purchased this to use with an iPod Classic. I love the look and, like many Crosley products, it sounds like vintage gear too: warm, not too imposing. The crackling when it comes on and off doesn't bother me: brings back memories of old radio sets. The remote is pretty bare bones, but once you have music cued up, it works fine.The one quibble I have is with it recognizing the iPod. Sometimes it takes resetting the iPod a couple times before it will playback on the Crosley. Once it does, sounds great.

While it is advertised as compatible with the iPhone 3GS, this has not been my experience.The sound only works with the iPod function - any other app that plays music will not work with this dock. If you try to use [....] the volume will be unavailable.Secondly, I randomly started getting a message that this dock is not compatible with my model last week. I mainly use this dock with an alarm app next to my bed. When this message comes up in the middle of the night it prevents my alarm from goin g off.I can't speak to this dock's compatibility with other models, but I can't recommend it for use with the iPhone 3GS until these problems are rectified.

This iPod dock is great for my desk at work. It looks great-very simple and not too busy. It sounds great. Best of all I can listen to my favorite music at work all day and still look stylish. I would reccomend this to anyone who loves music without all the bells and whistles.

I found this while Christmas shopping online. The vintage look caught my eye, so I had to have it. On arrival, this speaker blew me away! It sounded great out of the box and has continued to please me. It works perfect with my iPhone. I am very pleased and impressed!
