It works great, never have an issue, never drops my wireless connection. I had LYNKSYS in the past which was a piece of junk and replaced with this router. Easy setup also. However, I was not able to run/use the included networking software with WIN7, but was able to easily avoid installing this feature.Overall, I'd say this router is well worth the price.

I've had this router for 5 years and haven't had a problem. I had 4 computers hard wired and 2 laptops that connect wireless. Also I had a wireless printer and a wii that connects wireless and all work without any issues. I would recommend to anyone. Easy set-up

This was a nice little router for about 4 months. Then.....nothin'. I realize it was inexpensive but in this case that needs to be changed to CHEAP! The part that really bugs me is that it was at full power (signal) just LAST NIGHT; now less that 24 hours later it's just a hunk of plastic sitting on my desk. Save your money. In this case you really do get what you pay for.

The router functioned very well for the period it actually turned on. It wasn't terrible to set up. This was my first home networking experience and I managed to both set it up physically and connect it to two computers, my ps3, and my network Brother printer without a problem. I also was able to secure it quite easily. I had few problems throughout the router's lifetime, but the lifetime only lasted one year and just over one month.I purchased the router late November of 2008, and it died Janu ary 2010.I had to disconnect the router at one point. When I reconnected it, it refused to turn on again. I tried to plug it in with five different outlets in the house (I couldn't believe it'd died) and the router proved to be dead. Its unacceptable to have a product fail two months after its purchased-conveniently just outside its warranty period. I would recommend steering away from D-link entirely. A family member also purchased the DIR 625, and that one failed within the warranty period. He was able to get a scratched up refurbished model to replace his faulty one. I would highly recommend steering away from D-link entirely and buying a router from a company that provides a lower failure rate.

The router worked fantastic when during its lifetime. This was my first router and I was able to set it up without needing to contact tech support. I take no issue with the router other than the fact that it only lasted 14 months. I had to disconnect the router once, to move it, and, upon reconnecting it, the router didn't show any lights anymore. The router wasn't able to receive current any longer. I contacted D-link, I would have to pay for the replacement (more than what it originally cost at thirty five usd) because it was 2 months out of warranty.I'd chalk this up to a faulty model, but my relative bought the model just above this one and his crashed two months in. I'm not confident in recommending any D-link router. Take it from someone who's had his router for more than a few months.

I know this is a cheap router, but it's a shame that cheap means... basically doesn't work.Out of the box the router does not work. It requires a firmware upgrade. Without it you will only be able to connect to your network about 30 minutes at a time.Additionally, I've owned the product for just under a year and the product has failed. Not just flaky... but absolutely bricked.

worked fine for about a year then stopped working. After a long call to the technical support it was determined the product was defective. The process to return the unit for another one was long and in the end we ended up purchasing another product. Don't waste your money.
