We bought this for our 8 year old for Christmas. It was a huge hit. He can play the games that he loves plus he can watch Netflix movies. I would recommend this to any parent.

OK, I had the DSI, and loved it. Got to where I was using it as much, if not more than my laptop to do things online, and play games. This is the same as far as useful BUT the screen is so much bigger that even my mother can see it from across the room, and her eyesight stinks. Also the gaming case is bigger and comes with a few free games already installed. The only things to watch are onlookers if you are doing private business make sure they can't see you're screen, and if whoever the system is for it may be a bit big for their hands. So bottom line, bigger IS BETTER for the screen but double check for hand comfort. Whichever you get DSI or XL you're gonna have a blast! :o)

My 12 year old daughter loves this. She can take pictures and play games by herself or with others. It is a wonderful product.

I had the original DS way back in the day when I was little. I bought this one because I have epilepsy and I can't have the 3DS. This one is fantastic, I love the bigger screens, Target did a great job on getting it to my house on time. The Blue isn't to bright so that's good for us guys, and the stylus I put in a case I bought so I wouldn't lose it. Great gaming console, hope it'll never die!

well i purchased this item for my 20 yr old neice for her birthday,then had to get another one for my nine year old neice..both babies love them...

I got this machine for my 8 year old son, and now, I am the one hooked on it. It has quite a few bells and whistles on it, and he seems to love it too.

This was a great Christmas present for my grandchildren, and one that I can add games to on upcoming special occasions. Target was very prompt in getting this order shipped to me, was well packed and arrived within the date range they projected.

My wife and I purchased this for our 7 year old for his birthday. He LOVED it!!! The screen on this model is noticeably bigger and clearer than past models. With the wide variety of games available (both intellectual AND entertainment), he won't be able to put it down.

This is a Christmas gift, but I took a picture of myself, set the blocks (parental controls) and preferences, all with ease. Very user friendly. My son is going to LOVE IT! The screen is HUGE!
