We bought this Car Bed for our Grandson, who just turned 3 years old. He was very excited when we told him that we had a car bed waiting for him. He wanted to know if the wheels moved. Upon seeing it he said "where's the steering wheel. Even without a steering wheel he really likes it. We like it too, it's just the right size, very colorful and doesn't take up too much of the room.

Great Bed

I purchased this bed as tranitional furniture for my grandson, when his crib was passed along to a cousin. Assembly was not difficult, and the bed is nice and sturdy once assembled. It's the perfect size for him, and of course he loves the look of it, since 'Cars' is one of his favorite movies. Great product, good value, definitely a winner.

we got this for our 20month old boy. He is really big for his age and he still sleeps with us. We thought since he likes cars so much he would sleep in this bed by himself. He loves it! It is sturdy enough for a starter bed and I like that it sits low to the ground. It was easy to put together and I would recommend it.

Great for the price!

After reading some of the reviews stating difficult assembly we were skeptical, but my husband is a carpenter so we went ahead and ordered this. My son is a HUGE Lightening McQueen fan! I ended up putting the bed together, and it was very easy to do, even with a toddler and an infant crawling all over it and me! Highly recommend. It is just adorable.

I purchased this bed for my grandson's 3rd birthday and at 4 1/2 he is still in it. There is never a problem getting him to go to bed in his adorable McQueen bed. Well made and easy assembly for the price. I would purchase this again if the need arised.

Got this bed last week for my almost 3 year old son as his first bed. He LOVES it! It went together pretty easily and feels very sturdy. Colors are great. The only small issue is that it looks like it went through a redesign, possibly for safety, and the foot board actually goes on at a diagonal. This results in no sharp corners, but means the crib-size mattress is a tight fit at the bottom and I have to put the sheets on the bottom end, then slide the bottom part of the mattress in first every time I make the bed. A small price to pay for a great bed that is safe and a great price.

This bed is really well designed and VERY poorly manufactured. The pre-drilled holes do not line up and the wood pieces are poorly milled and finished. If I didn't have woodworking skills, I would have to throw this bed in the garbage. I had to add doublers and reinforcers to make this bed even close to suitable for my son to sleep in.Target you should be ashamed for selling something lacking this much quality. Delta Children's Products - you are negligent.

Cute... but may not be durable/side rails not high enough

I purchased this car bed expecting the frame to be more than soft pressed wood - and sides as one piece. Picture error: With the typical 5 to 5 1/2 inch crib mattress the side rails are not as pictured! The mattress is EVEN or HIGHER than the side rails. If one has a 3 inch mattress (who has that?) the picture is accurate. For an occasional sleep over, it may be fine. For constant use, I would encourage a more sturdy frame & a more protective side rail bed.I must say....Delta, the makers of this bed, have very good customer service.

Nice design, sloppy product

I bought this bed for my son for his birthday to go with the rest of his bedroom theme. At first there was nothing to it, I had that thing put together all by myself in 20 mins. The only part that I didn't like was the side wings, the pegs would not fit into the holes and when i tried to wedge them in, they poked holes on the other end. So i left them off and then when i tried to position the bed where i wanted it, the back end fell off. Ive tried every angle and direction of pushing and pullin g the bed and every attempt ended with something breaking off. The mattress itself is sturdy it can hold both me and my son... now if i can just get him to stay on it all night!!
