I did really like this and I found that it works very well when you do hold the product up and down and not at an angle. When you hold the product straight up and down it flies with no problems whereas if you try and send it off at an angle it will not work well. Overall this was a great product that I would highly recommend for any Tinkerbell aficionado.

I gave this doll to my niece at Christmas because she's a huge Tinkerbell fan! She had fun playing with it in the back yard. It was a little tricky at first to make sure she had the doll straight up and down and pulled the string fast enough to launch it. I'm sure it probably helped her coordination! She did get it in the end and was launching Tink into the air like a pro. My niece is 7, I wouldn't recommend this toy for kids younger than about 5 because they probably wouldn't have the coordina tion to pull the string fast enough, and keep the doll upright. An adult would have to help younger children.

Girls all over who love fairies will love this toy. Set up of the toy was a breeze and there are no batteries required, which is always a plus in my book. Once realizing the proper way to hold the toy, getting Tinkerbell to fly was not difficult after a few tries. I did not experience her flying 10 feet in the air, but she did go a few feet up before landing on the ground. One very important note is that Tinkerbell WILL NOT launch if the device is held at an angle. This is intentional as i t is a safety mechanism to prevent injury to people standing nearby. Kids MUST hold Tinkerbell and her rose bud vertically for the toy to properly work. I think a child of 5 would be able to play with this toy independently with no problem. Overall, it is a cute toy that is fun to play with. Kids will really like it and you won't be disappointed.

Must Hold Toy Vertically Due to Safety Mechanism

My daughter has this toy and she enjoys it a lot...anything that flies is really cool to her plus she likes Tinkerbell. I saw some other reviews about the product not working. I think it has to do with the safety mechanism because the toy is not suppose to work if held at an angle because it could launch into someone. By design it only works when the toy is held vertically. Once I showed my daughter how to properly launch it, then it worked every time.

I'm not sure why this product has received so much negative reviews. The girls got this as an early Christmas gift from their grandmother and have been playing with it nonstop since. You pull the string and Tinkerbell spins in the air. Very cute and I would definitely recommend.

I bought this toy for my daughter who loves fairies. She loves it and plays with it over and over again - it flies really really high too. I read the other reviews I think the reason that the string jams on some is that you have to hold the doll upright to have it work or a safety lock mechanism kicks in. it is not as clear on the directions as it should be so I am sharing.

We've no gone through two of these in two days, and we're not going to bother with a third. The first one broke with the string on the launcher stuck fully extended on the 3rd use. The second lasted a whole day, sticking several times, but we were able to unstick it, before it finally and firmly stuck with the string fully inside the launcher. This thing is terribly constructed. Don't waste your time, money, or your children's frustration.

This was fun for about 30 seconds. Then Tink's wing broke off. I superglued it and within another minute of flying the other wing broke off. It is not durable enough to handle landing. Great idea, but shoddy design.
