I bought this bed for my son who was 3 years old at the time [...]. It was easy to assemble and he loves it! He is 4 now and doesn't use the siderails, so my only issue is the middle red plastic feet tend to bend inwards underneath the bed. Would be great it they had a bar to screw between the 2 to keep it from happening. He even jumps on it and it's still holding up! Overall, it's a great bed for the money spent!

Easy to understand directions, quick assembly, sturdy frame. Should use drill to secure screws better. One set of holes didn't line up correctly on the side bar. Overall good first bed for a toddler.

We received this bed as a gift almost 2 yrs ago for my son's 3rd birthday. For these 2 yrs I have to say that it did the job it was suppose to. My son never fell off of it and slept through the night with no issues, from the bed at least. We didn't allow jumping on the bed and I was able to lay with him on it when he wanted mommy to be close by. The only issue we experienced were the stickers lifting, but other than that it was a decent transitional bed. [...]As far as putting it together, I va guely remember my husband had some issues with trying to make things fit but after a little arm strength he did it.

My 3 yr old has been sleeping in this bed for over a year now. In the begining I didn't like it much because the gaurd rail didn't offer much profection(it wasn't long enough). When I would check on him in the middle of the night, I often found him on the floor. If you buy this bed, be prepared to get an extra gaurd rail and put some pillows on the floor next to your toddlers bed. After a while though, he learned how to sleep without falling off the bed and now I think its great.I really can't speak on the assembly, my husband put it together. It took him about 1 hour (He's good at putting things together). I do remember him complaining about all the pieces it came with. thats about it.

The set up was alittle difficult putting it together alone. The screwing was even harder than I thought since I couldn't use an electric tool. But after putting it together it looked really good. My son loves it and sleeps well on it. It has been almost a year and It is still in good condition besides the stickers starting to come off. It has survived my son's terrible two's stage. :)
