This small bookcase turns out to be quite nice looking, dark brown wood. For me the best part is that it is so easy to assemble. Remove it from the box, fold out the sides, drop the shelves, done. Five minutes, no tools. I filled it with cameras and photographic accessories and it makes perfect easily accessible storage. Good deal.

Recommend for bibliophiles!

I needed to find a way to keep my books organized and in plain sight. This shelf does the trick. Not too heavy for me to carry upstairs by myself, and a breeze to put together - considering it only involves opening the box and unfolding the shelf! I was pleasantly suprised. It goes well with my mission-style bedroom furniture, and I think the color and style would fit in with various decorating schemes. I'd definitely purchase this again. Thanks Target!

I had read the reviews mentioning this is more of a cherry wood, not a walnut and I agree completely. These match my cherry wood bed perfectly and I could not be happier. They were so simple to put together, just fold the shelves down and pop in a few pieces and viola! Mine arrives in perfect condition and were well worth the price. I got them on sale for under [...], what a deal!

Good bookshelf for the price...the only problem I have with it is I thought the wood would be darker since its listed as dark walnut. It's a red tone to it but its a good buy for the price. I just ordered a second one for our home office.

This book case is well built and easy to put together. It has a nice finish on it as well. I only wish I would had looked at the dimensions closer. It is about 4 foot tall. From the photo I was expecting something taller.
