Half the tortilla got brown and crispy and the other half was soft. I will try the 8" tortillas next time. Otherwise, no issues at all. Melted everything inside great! Just wondering what size tortillas everyone else is using?!
I bought this on a recommendation. I use it roughly 3-4 times per week. Husband loves quesadillas and it's so quick and easy to clean up. Disregard the negative reviews. Worth the money!
We recieved this quesadilla maker for our wedding shower and couldn't be happier. It's a bit hard to close if you have lots inside and you have to be super careful with the clasp that closes it (seems a bit weak) but beside that it works great. Super easy clean up, just wipe with a paper towel. Great for quick dinners or for finger food appetizers after cut.
I bought mine over a year ago but the other day I made lunch at a friends house and her two children loved them - her husband and she both had some and we made an extra and that completely disappeared the next day with the kids for breakfast. It was such a hit I bought her one and she has fallen in love with it! For breakfast,lunch and dinner it is a great hit at both houses - I use it about twice a week. She has been using it endlessly with the kids.
This is the second one I am buying, and that's not a bad thing at all! We wore out the first. This is a great item for easy dinners, tweens and up can make their own. I prepare taco meat or flavored chicken and have ready in the fridge making it easy to use anytime of day! VERY SATISFIED!
toasts my tortillas perfectly! great for the nights when i don't have a lot of time to cook - throw chicken and cheese in and in 5 minutes dinner is ready! i use a pizza cutter to slice them :-)
We bought this for my God Daughter and her fiance for a wedding gift. They love it. They make the best quesadillas every time we have dinner with them. Highly recommend it.
I gave this 4 stars because as other reviewers mentioned, it is hard to close- but not impossible. You have to wait for the Quesadilla to warm up and slowly push it down until it latches, you cant just snap it shut right away. And the latch is plastic and is cheaply made. But this does heat up quickly and is easy to clean because it's non-stick. I think it's a great purchase for the price and it makes CRISPY quesadillas!
