We've had this stool for two years now. It's seen better days but my son still uses it to reach the bathroom sink. It's been water damaged and though the paint is a bit cracked, it's still there and still serves its function. The lid has a locking mechanism so it can't come crashing down on a kid's fingers either. Easy to put together, very cute, only wish it was a bit taller.
