I am very bummed out. We purchased this when our daughter was 4 weeks old due to reflux and reading the reviews. We've been using it for over a month now and her pediatrician said that we should not be using it since her legs do not get fully stretched out in it and it leaves them bunched up. She said this makes reflux worse since it makes her legs push up on her tummy. I thought it was a great item and will still use it in the future when she hopefully out grows reflux.

If your baby is gagging during feedings, has frequent hiccups, and projectile vomiting, get to the doctor, they may have reflux. If they do have reflux, get to Target, and get this bed! Or even better, order it online and have it shipped to your door. [...] My baby was diagnosed with reflux at 2 weeks, and luckily my doula suggested the Fisher Price Rock & Play Sleeper. I ordered one and it arrived within a week. I put it together easily and had him sleep in it the first night. The sleeper was so comfortable with its plush lining and appropriate angle, that he slept the longest stretch yet. The only problem you may have is having to wake them for feedings. I highly recommend this sleeper, especially if you have a baby with reflux, as it will bring more peace to both of you. My baby is now 4.5 weeks, and I am so happy with ours that I will be ordering a second one for his Montessori day care, so he will be able to sleep well there too.

I just got this for my 3 week old based upon the high reviews and I'm so happy I did! My daughter took to it right away, falling asleep within minutes of me putting her in it. The fabric is so incredibly soft, it cradles her in a way that no bassinet or crib could. I love that it is easy to transport, easy to wash and so easy to put together. The only downside so far is that it doesn't rock by itself or.at least vibrate.

As a first time mom, it was a challenge to figure out exactly what my baby needed, how much "stuff" I could fit in my city apartment and what I couldn't live without. I wish I would have purchased the rock n play sooner bc at 4 months old, he sleeps the entire night in his rock n play vs his crib. For some reason, he seems more comforted by it or he may be experiencing a mild case of reflux --I am not sure. I would say that this item is a hybrid between a bouncer and bassinet and s ince it is so portable, if I had to do it again, I would not purchase a bouncer and instead just buy this along with the snugabunny swing.

Just got this for our newborn son. First toy/soother he doesn't ultimately hate. Swing and bouncy chairs haven't worked for us. I can put him in it when he's sleeping and he's comfy.

We tried a bassinet with our little girl but it didn't work. We purchased this when she was 2 weeks and it worked out very well.

I bought this for my grandson and he loves it! His mom likes having him near her and she says it is easy to give him a little rock when he's fussy. It is easy to move him around to keep him nearby and he enjoys the snuggly feeling of this little rocking seat.

This helped our little guy sleep, tremendously. Don't hesitate to buy it. I only wish that....1. we had purchased it sooner and..... 2. it was longer because he's gonna outgrow it - he's pretty long. I put a fleece blanket in a u-shape around the head part to bolster it up even more, because it made him more comfortable. I went to the store to buy it, and it was actually on sale for under [$$] bucks! Maybe you can check your local store to see if you can get it for cheaper, too. I g ave the "Entertainment" 1 star because that's not what we used it for!

[...] At one month, I was at a local Target and I was passing by when I saw this at [$]. I saw it priced higher before, so I had to get it right away. And it was the best purchase I ever made. My newborn is now really sleeping like a newborn. Mommy and Daddy have been getting better sleep since baby sleeps better, and that's worth everything! It cradles her body really comfortably and it is positioned in a way that she won't choke. I love how lightweight it is, too. Easy to carry around. For t he newborns, I dare to say that this is all you need for the first few months!

I love this and so does my baby, we were using the corner of the couch that was the only way he could get comfy, I found this while seeing my mother and tried it he loves the upright postion and great for reflux issues and how it cradles his head it is close to him and he feels protected and I can rock it for a few minutes and he is out, Very portable more so than pack in play. I can rock him to sleep in the living room and move to his room while he is in it, so light weight.This is a life sav er and well worth the money,From one happy mom to another, get this and you will not regret it.
