Have had this chair for a year in my living room, with a cream/buff leather sofa and an ivory wool rug. The chair was very simple to assemble. Back screws to seat, legs screw to seat. Done in 20 min by myself. The chair is much lighter and more fragile than you'd expect, but has been sturdier than expected and has survived my college son's friends on their infrequent visits home. The seat is only comfortable with the additional pillow. Without it, it's an awkward sit--since it's almost a 90 degree angle. So, expect to use the pillow. For the sale price, it was a decent buy.
I have two of these in my living room with a antique white sofa. Everyone loves them - and is in shock when I tell them they came from Target. Arrives in two pieces and screws together, then you have to screw in the legs. Sturdy and comfortable!
I was very excited when I ordered this chair as an accent piece in my home office. The reviews were great and the color appeared to be exactly what i was looking for. Unfortunately, I thought I was getting more of a teal color, but it is much darker and a lot more blue than I expected. I'm disappointed because I love the print and it seems to be well made. I love my chairs. They were easy to put together and arrived much earlier than the projected delivery date. One HUGE thing to note...the color they call "surf" is nothing like the actual color. I thought I was ordering more of a Mint Green/Robin's Egg Blue. The actual color is somewhere between a Tiffany Blue and Turquoise. I was kind of shocked initially, but the color is vibrant and looks great.
The pattern and color are beautiful. It's the 1st thing my friends noticed when walking into my house. Everyone loved it. I would recommend this chair.
Love the chair and will purchase another one once I buy a house. This chair goes great in a living room. I was expecting the color not to be so bright, but it is the same as you see it online. The instructions are not so great, but it did not stop me from being able to put the chair together. There are not that many parts and is very easy to put together. The chair is comfortable, but sturdiness is not its strong point. I do think it will last a very long time as long as it is taken care of. I
would not recommend that children play on it by jumping off of it or someone sitting in it while tilting it back. This chair would also go great in a bedroom for a reading area. I would recommend this chair to anyone.
