This is by far the worst can opener I have ever purchased. It just does not work. It takes a huge effort to even latch on to the can and when it does you have to turn so hard and it only seems to cut half the can. [..... ... see more

After going through many can openers, I've finally found one that works! It opens cans smoothly. It's a breeze to use.

I consider Target a store that offers me and my family a very good attentionfrom their employees, a comfortable enviroment plus what I consider mypersonal treat: an electric cart for my 74 years.But one of the outstanding features is Quality.When i decided for the Giada De Laurentis Can Opener I was sure that theQuality was there.And IT WAS.As I received this item, I put it to the test, and voil!It was the best I have owned in my entire life.

[...] this can opener is terrible. It slips off of the can 90% of the time, won't cut cleanly, and is difficult to turn. The old [...] can opener that I had worked perfectly every time, for 17+ years, but this Giada can opener just can't cut it. I do not recommend it.

Well what can I say!! I love my new can opener! It makes opening any can easy. Not only is it easy to use it's sleek smooth stainless steel look goes great with my other kitchen appliances. I also like the fact that it is easy to clean. It doesn't get dirty like other can openers. My husband has rheumatoid arthritis and using his hands is difficult but since I bought my Giada De Laurentiis can opener he has no problems using the can opener because of the how easy it is to use!I would definately buy another one when and if this one ever wears out and I definately will recommended it to my family and friends.Thank you Target for always carrying great products that make our lives easier!

This can opener is of superb quality. I registered for most of the Giada kitchen tools and have been very pleased with the quality of each. The can opener is a beautiful, solid product. It does exactly what it is meant to do. It is easy to use and does not produce any dangerous jagged edges on cans like other products could. I did not want an electric can opener as I do not have the counter space for one, nor am I constantly opening cans, so I am quite happy with a manual one. This can opener i s also very easy on your hands. I've had other manual openers that you really had to squeeze and the metal or plastic would press into your hand. The Giada can opener does not do that--the handles are ergonomic and the stainless steel is very smooth. This product is very easy to use and to clean. I definitely recommend it if you are looking for a fantastic, basic manual can opener.

Although this can opener is a bit pricey, I decided to take a chance on it. I'm glad I did. It glides, it's easy to turn and it's made very well. This can opener replaced my broken Pampered Chef can opener. This is a much much product. I will probably buy more of Giada's products.

When the cheap electric can opener didn't work, I bought this one.I am very impressed, though a bit expensive, it is a quality item. I have noproblem getting cans open now.

Works great, best one I have ever bought and I think it will hold up a long time. I also bought the Giada chef knife and cutting board and love them as well. I think these are well made.
