I needed to purchase a gift from your bridal registry and last minute. I easily navigated through the website to find my bride and groom and all their desires. I found just the gift and in my price range. I was also excited to see it could be gift wrapped for a minimal charge. Bonus! I used this casserole dish for the first while making Mostacholi. It turned out great and love how it is stylish! The only thing is, I wish it came in a size that was a little bigger! Otherwise I have had no problems with this dish.

I recieved this dish as a wedding gift and have not been disappointed. I used it to cook a rack of lamb with veggies and it came out perfect and it is wonderful to then be able to go straight from the oven to the table with the classy look.

I was looking for a casserole pot and was excited to find this for less [..]! However, as I was using this for the first time, it cracked! The crack when all the way through along the length of the bottom of the pot! Now I have a lengthy oven cleaning ahead of me.Invest in a more expensive pot. It will last longer than a day.

I've been looking for afordable stoneware baking dishes. I really like the finish of Giada's bakeware, they have a slick glaze on them which makes them easy to clean. I love her style, these dishes can really go with anyones collection :) My only complaint is that you can't buy her ramekins seprately to add to the bakeware set which comes with two :/*One of the comments below was a little vauge but these are meant for baking, not stove top use (such as soup), just to make that clear because it doesn't specifically say on the page. Stoneware gets hot and is likely to break in an unpleasent way and can be dangerous if used incorrectly. It would really be a bummer to be making hot soup and have the casserole dish break in half all over you and the kitchen :/

I registered for several of Giada's items for my wedding, and they have all been wonderful so far. I only wish that she made this casserole dish in a smaller size as well, because 2.5 quart can be too large when cooking for only 2 people. It cooks evenly, and is easy to clean up. I have not had any problems with chipping or breaking. And to those of you who complain when it shatters on the stovetop: It says right on it not to use it with a broiler or open flame. Please do not make it sound like the product is to blame. I don't think that Giada would put her name on something, and use it on her own show, if it wasn't good quality.

[...] I used it in the oven and it was great- heated evenly and went right from the oven to the table because of it's great style- I didn't feel the need to serve my dish in anything else. Clean up is a breeze- my husband did the washing up and made a point of telling me that he had simply wiped it out with the soapy dishcloth and it was perfect- no soaking, no scrubbing. That's saying a lot because what I made last night was cream sauce based and full of cheese- normally a clean up nightmare! Not in this pot!I am going to be careful with the lid and the handles because they seem like one accidental whack on the sink edge or whatever and it'll be done but that's fine- I should be careful with all of my cookware.

I first used it to roast a chicken and it worked adequately. The second time I used it for some chicken breasts in a 350 oven. About 10 minutes in I heard a pop and a shatter. It cracked and fell apart right in the oven! I'm bringing it back. I should have known from the price that it was not the best quality.

This pot is wonderful for making roasts. I just made a casserole roasted chicken and it was wonderful! Some people have made comments about it shattering on the stovetop. Hello, it's ceramic. It can only go in the oven. If you want something to go from the stovetop to the oven, you need to buy a casserole made of cast iron.
