This whisk has many uses since it can withstand high heats. Use it to mix batters, beat eggs, or straight on the stove for sauces and soups. I've had some in the past that were all metal and tend to get bent or fall apart in the dishwasher, but the silicone shouldn't do that. It's well worth the price since it probably won't need to be replaced like the all metal ones.

I've really enjoyed using this whisk in place of the old, larger metal whisk that I had previously. It works well and is easy to clean and I'm sure it won't rust like the metal one.

This whisk is small and great for stirring sauces and blending ingredients. It is a surprisingly small whisk, which is fine because it fits nicely in my equally small kitchen. I would not recommend using this for whipped cream--it is tiny and you will be whipping all day, but for sauces and de-glazing pans, it is great.
